Location is perfect for exploring Madrid, for shopping and also a spot of people watching. Excellent stay here and the staff are very helpful !!! All main attractions are within walking distance. Would come back again.

I really enjoyed this clean, spacious hotel with a friendly staff and an excellent location. It is at the throbbing heart of Madrid, yet provides all the traveller needs for rest and relaxation. Everything is close by.

Very clean room. The location cannot be beat and the view of the square from our balcony was great. It was somewhat loud at night, but not so bad that we couldn't sleep. The metro stop is literally right in front of the hotel. I would stay here again if I returned to Madrid.

Great hotel. We were nervous because the hotel is above the hustle and noise of the street, but we never heard anything. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only complaint is that the wifi was not very strong, and we could not use it much.

This modest 3 stars hotel was one of the nicest surprises I ever had in my tourist life. First of all, LOCATION !!!. You will not find a better location in Madrid. The center of the centers. Few minutes walk from many Madrid attractions and one minute away from Madrid's fantastic subway and transportation system. It feels like the hotel... More

Just stayed at the Europa for 2 nights. What a great place. Clean rooms, helpful staff, and the perfect location. We took a taxi from the airport, but wish we would have just taken the train. This is the perfect place to stay!

Wonderful hotel in the middle of the action adjacent to Puerta del Sol. Our room was exquisite. Some rooms have balconies overlooking the plaza. The pro is that it is fun to watch all the activity from your own balcony. The con is that it can be noisy very late in the evening if there is a lot of activity.... More

The hotel is located just a short walk from the Sol stop of the Madrid Metro, just within walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants, and via short taxi ride is within reach to a lot of significant sites in Madrid. Our accommodations included breakfast and we were pleased to find out the Hotel's restaurant, the Cafeteria del... More

Seriously this hotel hit all the checks! Loved our balcony view that overlooked Puerta Del Sol and the street below. I had special requests -- no fridge in the room but wanted to refrigerate stuff. They were so accommodating! Got lots of help from the concierge on getting around & booking shows and restaurants. Great choice and fantastic value! Thanks... More

We spent 4 days here and could not have had a better experience. Our room was spacious, by European standards, and had a beautifully appointed bathroom with all updated fixtures. It was a "show" outside our window overlooking Plaza del Sol all day and continuing into the early morning hours...mimes, skaters, breakdancers, talented musicians, etc. The hotel staff were very...
