Clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, and centrally located, this is a good choice for a stay in Madrid. You can't ask for more central than this. Easy to reach via subway from the airport or train station and most tourist attractions can be walked to. Plenty of places to eat and drink as well very close by. One downside is that there are many people in the area so the noise outside will continue until late at night.... More

Hotel Europa is right on the Puerta del Sol plaza, a very busy square in the heart of Madrid. There are plenty of great little restaurants and flamenco joints. Hotel Europa has a fantastic location, right on Puerta del Sol. The staff was very friendly and even though we arrived at 10am after an overnight flight, we had a room within the hour. Since we were on the first floor, the wifi signal was strong, but we heard a lot of street noise from the plaza and the cafe.... More
