My friend and I booked this hostal in desperation, as the hotel we had booked cancelled. How glad were we!! We had a double room each for the same price as one double at the hotel. The rooms were perfectly adequate with a full sized fridge and a safe free of charge. It was spotlessly clean and anything you didn't... More

Bathroom is small and room is basic but adequate with enough room for 2 and a safe, while the service outside is pretty good. The entrance is pretty unassuming and grotty being from one of Madrid's wilder streets, with the noise being slightly over the top at night. However once you realise how central this hotel is to the Retiro... More

After a stay at the associated Hostal Adria Santa Ana last year, when we returned to Madrid this year, half of our large group stayed at Santa Ana again, the other half at Hostal Adriano. The owners were extremely accommodating and supported us in every way possible. Late night arrival, early morning departure, a group of 25 in two locations,... More

We make a habit of choosing centrally located hotels as it means you can easily walk to all the places worth visiting in a city centre without wasting time and money getting there. Naturally we are looking for a comfortable, clean and inexpensive room. This hotel ticks all the boxes; although it's on the 4th floor there is a lift,... More

The hostal is located on the 4th floors (it is a lift) of a building in which there are other hotels on the other floors, on a street with a lot of bars, restaurants and a disco (unfortunately). The location is good because it is quite close to most of the tourist attractions (within walking distance). It's a very crowded... More

Great location, but horrible experience. Paid extra for a room with a private bathroom/shower. After using the bathroom for the first time I was locked in for 10 minutes because the latch broke. My son finally came to my rescue. The shower head was broke and we had no tub plug. It was like taking a bath in a sink.... More

Booked two rooms and both were darling. We loved the attention to detail in decorating, as well as, being extremely clean. Even the blades on the ceiling fans were clean. The bathrooms are very small so if you are a large person this could be a challenge. Our room was equipped with a blow dryer, refrigerator, television, cold air conditioning,... More

Group of us stayed here. Hostel was better than what we expected for the price. It is centrally located, all the tourist attraction is very near. You can walk everywhere or take a tour bus. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They all speak very well English which was a plus point for the tourist with no Spanish... More

We stayed here in beginning of May.The room was good value for the price, Beds were very comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Within walking distance of many attractions. I would definitely stay here again.

This Hostal was perfect! I was traveling with my mom, so it was a perfect middle ground between a youth hostel and a pricey hotel. We had a nice private room with two beds and ensuite bathroom and fridge and table. The internet didn't work great in our room, but everything else was excellent, especially the price and location!
