We chose this hostel because of the location. It was perfect since it was a 7 mins walk to Atocha Renfe, 2 min walk to Atocha subway and it was about a 20 mins walk to plaza mayor which is the centre of Madrid. The location is great but everything else here isn't. The rooms are small and you can here everything going on in the hotel. At the ground floor are some restaurant and the smell of food is everywhere in the building. If you don't have any other solution than is a good place to sleep one or two nights

pros: Very cute entrance, great value for money, friendly helpful receptionist, clean rooms. cons:The paper thin walls eg. we could hear the neighbor hanging his clothes and you could have sworn he was in our room. Cigarette burns in the duvet.

Regarding the rooms, they are very small, with a little bathroom, but clean. There are always a lady taking care of it. The... More
