This hostal lies in the center of the city, in the gay area and is great for gay travelers. Others will enjoy to and it's not a gay hostal. Prices are low and the rooms are nice and clean. Staff is friendly, but doesn't speak much English. Very close to metro and it takes about 35 min from the airport... More

Hostal Odesa has rather mixed ratings, so when I went there with my partner in June 2013, I was ready to be disappointed. However, we weren't disappointed at all, but instead, rather delighted. This is definitely a budget hotel, so don't expect frills, but we were pleased with the quality of the furnishings, the clean towels every day and the... More

I have been staying in Odesa apartments since November 2005, one to two times each year. During this last trip in March 2013 my cousin and his wife shared a flat with me and they loved it. Very reasonably priced, hip neighborhood with lots of shopping close by, centrally located and within walking distance to the Metro, grocery stores, la... More

I found this hotel to be very good value of money - the location in excellent in chueca, close to all the bars/clubs here. It is only a short 2 min. walk to Gran via and 5 mins walk to peurta del sol. The rooms are quite nice as well but since our room was located next to the reception... More

Our stay was OK. The Receptionist was OK and helpful. The room also was ok, nice and confortable. We only stayed one night and had a good location in a gay neighborhood. I have no complains. The internet also was OK, not very good reception but it worked.

Spent 5 nights in the Odesa apartments in Madrid. Very clean and appropriate furniture - only weakness was a lack of suitable cutlery. Good location - small bars, restaurants, shops very near and easy walking distance to centre of Madrid for museums, metro etc. Some problem with leaving key on departure as the reception desk was closed but I would... Basic old fashioned room but very clean. The service is minimum but you dont expect anything when you go to such kind of place for 45€ a nighht Location is good, near the Chueca, so if you wanna sleep well and a lot, not ideal, but party, it is awesome. Unfortunately, I was given the room just behind the reception... More

The rooms were very clean and the bathroom was spotless. The location was fantastic, near a Metro stop and lots of shopping and places to eat. If you want luxury and a romantic trip I would not recommend this hotel, but if you need somewhere to stay for a couple of nights while doing some sightseeing and exploring in Madrid... More

I have used the apartments on 6 different occasions over the last 4 years and have the exact opposite experience of many of the writers here. I have found the staff friendly and helpful. Yes, I have the advantage of speaking some Spanish but I am always surprised to hear complaints from travellers that the people do not speak English...uhm... More

I stayed here for 1 night on 24.04.08. Yes the receptionist does not speak a word of English - I can speak Spanish - but she was as polite as you can expect to find in Spain! My room and bathroom was spotless and perfectly adequate for an overnight. Location - in the heart of Chueca - is great and... More
