I have been to Madrid last November for 2 weeks on a business trip and decided to stay at Apartamentos Juan Bravo based on the reviews and I wasn't disappointed at all. It is in an excellent location in the very nice neighborhood of Salamnca few steps from the metro station that would take you to Puerta del Sol "the... More

Whilst the room was generally clean and tidy on entering for the first time there was a strong smell of smoke and hairs in the sink and on the toilet. That said the facilities were okay and after a day with the window open the smell of smoke was gone. Beds on the other hand were hard as anything and... More

Couldn't have been better placed walking distance to loads of nice bars, places for something to eat and shops. If you want to venture further the metro is at the front door. Really safe feel to the whole general area. The rooms were a decent size and it was great having your own kitchen that could then be closed off.... More

First some pros - We liked how close the apartment was to the metro station. And if we wanted to walk - that was doable too (40 min. walk from puerta del sol). The internet was free (not paid as advertised) and was pretty fast and reliable compared to other Spanish hotels. The parking is right next door and if... More

Was pleasantly surprised with this place. I really enjoyed the fact it was an actual apartment. kitchenette, dining /living room, balcony, bedroom and bathroom. My only gripe was that there were no tea and coffee facilities and the air con wasn't working. But besides that. Perfectly located, and very personal.

We found these apartments fantastic value. They are located in a nice area of Madrid and being next to the Metro station, provide excellent transport links into all of the main tourist areas. We found the check in process very easy and the staff were all friendly and approachable. One of the main attractions for us was the fantastic swimming... More

This is the only place to stay if you want a pool and be reasonably close to the centre of Madrid. Worth knowing is that the pool only opens from June 15th and then from 11.30am to 8.30 pm. Having a fridge is a real bonus and there are a couple of hobs to cook. No kettle or coffee maker... More

This was our first time at Apartamentos Juan Bravo and how pleased we were to have found them. The weather was very hot so the swimming pool was certainly an added bonus and we made some friends there. The staff were friendly and helpful and our apartment was clean and spacious. The location is really good, especially for us visiting... More

Stayed for a long weekend in July. Its not luxury, but at the price for group of friends it is absolutely superb. There is a secluded pool on the first floor, which is quite busy but has a lot of space and chairs to sit out a soak up the sun well into the early evening. We were still often... More

These apartments are clean and quiet allowing a peaceful night's sleep, which may be an issue in other areas of Madrid. We like the area,it has two supermarkets , several local restaurants, and a bar a few doors down that serves good free tapas with drinks. It was excellent value for what we paid.
