We came across this hotel on line and glad we did. The staff is amazing! We were greeted by a friendly staff at the reception desk who promptly checked us in an answered all questions we had. The room was clean and the hotel is in the center of all attractions. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here... More

This hotel is tucked in behind a cute restaurant that serves a fantastic breakfast. It is not on a main street so it is quiet and nice in the evenings and no noise at night when you are trying to sleep. The rooms are snug, but, very nice. Hotel staff seemed easily annoyed, but, maybe mimosas in the morning is... More

Stayed in this lovely hotel for 6 nights in November. Rooms and beds were extremely comfortable and staff very helpful. Food and drinks were great with a very nice atmosphere in the bar area downstairs. Is extremely busy with locals which is always a good sign. Would definitely recommend!

An excellent location close to the center , nice and clean rooms, friendly staff... The only thing which is not good, for those who have a car that the parking is everywhere very expensive, free is only for the weekend.

Room was rather small, but clean, well furnished and a good hot shower. Breakfast is pricey, but most people eat out in the morning anyway. WIFI works well in the room, bedding was comfortable. Very good value for money in the epicenter of Madrid.

I stayed here for 3 nights including New Years' Eve. The location is great. In the La Latina neighborhood near many restaurants and bars and short walk to the La Latina metro station. We didn't plan on spending much time in the room and were out most of the day time. If you want something a bit more relaxing or... More

This hotel is small, charming, clean and comfortable. The rooms are tiny and colorful. There is a cafe and restaurant downstairs, and the staff are helpful, cheerful and professional. More importantly, the location is amazing. Madrid center isn't large to begin with, and we found that all major touristic attractions were walking distance. Furthermore, the street the hotel is located... More

We started our first European family vacation in Madrid at this lovely boutique hotel away from the tourist part of town. When you get there you think you've arrived at a restaurant. Go on in and someone will help you. The rooms are very small but just fine because we didn't spend much time there. The entire family declared the... More

Such a brillant find. Visiting my daughter for weekend, Saturday to Monday, wanted to be right in the heart of La Latina (old part of Madrid). What a find, unusual layout, very quirky and fun as opposed to a traditional hotel i e rooms led off covered balcony open to the sky, amazing,so beautifully renovated. Spotless, small compact room with everything... More

Great location in the heart of the city! Walking distance to everything! Rooms are very trendy, a little small, but reasonable. Food in the lobby was excellent i.e breakfast, bar snacks. There is a cute restaurant there that seems popular. Check in staff was great! Very clean!

Staying in La Latina

Neighborhood Profile
La Latina
La Latina is a charming neighborhood with two unique personalities. At first glance, it’s distinctly old-world, with narrow streets weaving a maze among charming stone buildings in sunny, bright colors like yellow and pink. The other side of La Latina is characterized by a young population and a bohemian vibe, as evidenced by a dynamic and evolving selection of new bars, shops, coworking spaces, and other businesses popping up in the area. In the northern part of the neighborhood, the Cava Alta and Cava Baja streets constitute the tapas center of Madrid, where each age-old restaurant serves up distinctive specialties like huevos rotos and patatas bravas. Locals have come here for generations to while away hours over drinks and tapas with friends. On Sundays and public holidays, the streets to the south of La Latina metro station transform into a giant open-air market full of locals sifting through tent after tent of art, apparel, and antiques. Any day of the week, the intriguing blend of the traditional and the hip make the streets of La Latina worth exploring.
