Stayed at the Gran Melia for 4 nights during the Madrid marathon weekend. Everything about this hotel was perfect. The location, the service, the comfortable and very well appointed rooms and food/bar service was exceptional. Hotel was close to fabulous shopping, great restaurants and the many museums that Madrid has to offer. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

This hotel is excellently located with a very helpful staff. Quick cab to train station, walkable to shopping and local shops. excellent rooms. On the small side, but well appointed. Small bathrooms. nice bar downstairs and the food quite yummy.

The location of the Gran Melia Fenix is unbeatable. It is located on calle Hermosilla which crisscrosses many of Madrid's most important and fashionable streets. We have just returned from a four night stay at the Gran Melia Fenix. The staff were lovely, polite & curtious. The atmosphere was very relaxing, the rooms were comfortable and well equipped. We would highly recommend a stay here.
