We stayed here in Sept 2004. We purposely chose a hotel away from the center of Madrid for the last week of our stay (We stayed at the Tryp Cibeles on Gran Via the first couple of days). It is definitely a different experience from staying downtown. Pluses: Nice neighborhood which we enjoyed walking through, with several small parks nearby... More

I read 2 or 3 great write ups on this hotel and they were all wrong. Either the hotel has changed hands or it needs to. The staff were unhelpful, miserable and not one smile in my three night stay. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything and I mean all that goes on in the surrounding... More
