It might be better to look for a nice, well known hotel even if it is not so much in the city center. That way you will avoid inconveniences like getting an 7m2 room at the rate of a double-room, then moving to a real double room without windows and terribly smelling due to the renovation works going around, missing... We spent 2 nights for a week-end, the hotel was in renovation and nobody informed us before our arrival or applied us a discount. Despite this, we had a lovely week-end, the room was clean and very nice, the staff was nice, the breakfast was complete and very good (only 15€ for 2 personnes or 10€ for one). The better... More

The rating should disregard the construction. Taking this into consideration it would max be a 2. Looking at the progress I would think that it is not finished until March. Ask before booking as most facilities are not working. The hotel is very well situated in the middle of Gran Via. The rooms are not big but of good quality.... More

I stayed at this hotel 3 nights at the end of Nov 2014. The things that are important to me when I stay at a hotel are location and how clean the room and public areas are. I am well travelled and expect smaller rooms in Europe. My room on the first floor was very clean, well lit, not as... More

The room I was in was very small. Hard to find a spot to put my suitcase down. But: breakfast was good, plenty of choice. The location is good, very central, on Gran Via, very close to Gran Via underground station. But...there are many better hotels on Gran Via. I really don't see how this hotel could be a 4-star... Central hotel, walking distance to all the attractions in the city, accommodating staff, great service, clean and tidy rooms, a varied breakfast. Do not give up on staying in this hotel chain in future my visits Europe.

We stayed 4 days at this hotel and we jumped into several issues. First of all, the heating system was not working properly. This meant a cold room with no possibility to change it with a heated one and we were just gave a stove to solve the problem. Besides this we were not aware of the renovation works going... More

This hotel is currently being renovated and it is always difficult to run a hotel in these circumstances. They did, though, manage very well. My room had just been finished - the paint was only just dry and the room numbers had yet to be painted. Though the room was small, it was of a good standard and well fitted... More

Perfect location, clean hotel and very efficient staff. Good breakfast with a good variety of food. Fantastic lobby for a drink a free appetizers. Will recommend this hotel to friends. We were in room 401 no view but room was large enough and no noise could be heard from gran via. Most comfortable bed ever!!!
