Stayed for 3 nights in late July. This hotel met all of our needs and for the most part it was quiet. For a first time traveler to Spain I was initially surprised that there was not any carpeting in the rooms, but that was very minor. There was adequate space in the room for our clothing storage and suitcases.... More

To start there is many positives about this hotel. Situated on Gran Via its really easy to get about and see the sights. The food is very good especially the breakfasts. Lots of choice. The reception staff were quite slow and the language barrier was a problem. But in the end all our requests and questions were answeared.

Very good location, 10 mins walk to Plaza Sol. I booked a basic room for about 60€, turned out it is literally "basic", with tiny room & tiny bed ... I will never book its basic room regardless the price.

We stayed here 4 nights. Nice hotel in a great location. Walkable to most attractions. Nice breakfast buffet with variety. Front desk and breakfast room staff are very nice and friendly. We had some cigarette smoke smell issue (someone might be smoking outside the building and the smell coming into our room). They fixed it promptly. My only complain is... More

Stayed here for three nights. The only good thing of this place is its location. Our room was on the 1st floor and faced an inner courtyard, it was extremely dark, no natural light at all. You couldn't tell if it was day or night outside. Rooms and hallways are in desperate need of major renovations. Really dirty walls and... More

Just back from a 3 night stay with my sister and we had the best time! Considering the price this location is fab for a city break in Madrid and is a nice modern hotel. Only slight problem we had with the hotel (which wasn't a problem as such) was getting locked out of our safe one night so we... More

As per the title this hotel is within walking distance to Sol, Plaza Mayor and the Palace to one side, and the Padro & Thyssen-Bornemisza Museums down the Gran Via. Staff were helpful, rooms clean, although a little tight as we had two full size luggage. The old fashion lift was a treat!

We are just finishing our stay here and want to commend on the courteous and polite staff, specially Tania who spoke English well and very knowledgable about the area. The location of the hotel is so perfect right in the heart of the city. On one side you have Prado museum and on the other side, Royal palace. The hotel is... More

My first stay at an H10 and it was great. We had 3 generations in 2 nice size triples. Staff was very helpful and pleasant with out limited Spanish. A very nice breakfast buffet was included with our room. The elevator broke down a lot in the front so get a low floor :-)
