We truly enjoyed the hotel, although the area around it did not impress us much. The hotel was clean and so was our room. Again, we had one double bed instead of two singles. We were woried about the street noise, but that was never the problem. Our room, 506, was facing the "main" street, but were were on the... more

My mother and I went on a trip to Madrid and stayed at the Hotel El Prado for 4 nights. The hotel is well located, close to Museo El Prado and the Thyssen Museum, as well as a short walk from Atocha station, useful if you plan to venture away from Madrid. If you would prefer to stay closer to... more

This hotel it is located just in the center of Madrid, near from the Atocha train station, and with a lot of bars and restaurants near there (it is very near the Plaza de Santa Ana). The location of the hotel it is very interesting if you want to visit the city. The hotel was very clean, the rooms seem... more

We stayed here for 3 nights on route to South America. Read reviews from Tripadvisor and we were very pleased with the hotel. From the Airport we got the metro and got off at Anton Martin. It cost 4 euros between the two of us. Watch out on the Metro as there are theives about so be on your guard. Once... more

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. We were lucky enough to get a room with a small deck on the top floor. We were on the side street so had no noise problems. Our room was large and clean. The staff was helpful The location couldn't be better: near all the major museums, the train station and multiple tapas... more

Hi, My family and I (husband and 3 year old son) stayed at this hotel from May 19, 2009 to May 21, 2009 and then again for one night on May 25, 2009. We thought that this hotel was excellent. The location was priceless. We could walk everywhere in central Madrid from this location. We thought that the double room... more

We selected this hotel based on Trip Advisor's recommendations. We stayed early May this year. It is pretty close to Anton Martin Metro station (5 min walk) and at walking distance you can reach the Prado Museum, Cibeles Fountain, Plaza del Sol and Plaza Mayor to name just a few. We highly recommend this hotel because of it's great location... more

The location of this hotel can’t be beat. It is close to the museums, to La Puerta del Sol, La Plaza Mayor, and a short walk from The Royal Place and the tour bus departure locations. It also has a good amount of good restaurants near by. In general the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. It has underground parking via... more

I booked this hotel influenced by reviews here in Trip Advisor, by it's location on the map and by its good price and my friend and me did not regret it at all! By taking three but easy Metro Lines from the airport of Barajas (T4), the hotel is a very short walk from the Anton Martin Metro station, just... more

Ideally located in the heart of the city center, walking distance to all major attractions and metro stations, area packed with restaurants and bars. The hotel is nicely renovated and decorated. Rooms are nice and clean. Cozy breakfast room with choice of buffet / continental / spanish breakfast. Free internet stations in hotel loby, free Wifi (although in our room... more
