Spent 4 nights with the family (1 child) in Oct 2014. We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It was very affordable, close to a subway station (altough you can really walk around all Madrid quite easily). The rooms are comfortable (we had 3 single beds), very clean & the buffet breakfast was very nice (wish they had a better... More

Excellent location if you want to explore the old part of Madrid which has so much to offer. However, I haven't seen such a dated room for many years. Pay a bit more and go elsewhere if you want a nice room.

Booked this hotel as part of an airline's flight/hotel package and enjoyed my stay there. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and are of a reasonable size. I used both a twin and a double and although I was travelling alone I'm sure the room was adequate for comfortable double occupancy. The hotel is up to three minutes walk from... More

Stayed for 3 nights at this hotel , room 625.The hotel was in a good position, with easy access both walking and by metro to all parts of Madrid. Next door was a coffee shop which seemed expensive, so didn't use. Rooms were clean and tidy, but very small, bed was about 4 foot, which would have been O.K. for... More

We went with an organised trip and this hotel was ideal for visiting the city at a reasonable price.. Not right in the centre but opposite the tourist bus route which takes you all round the city at a very reasonable price, and you can get off and on where you want to see the sights. The room was clean... More

we were travelling throughout Spain and Portugal and spent three nights here. Gonzela worked at the front desk and went way beyond to make our stay pleasant. He was pleasant, kind and professional. We did not find this in any of our other hotels during our 16 day tour and at least 6 different hotels.

The hotel is a solid 3-star European hotel. The rooms are actually good sized for a city and had plenty of storage including a mini fridge. Our king room (#503) overlooked the city (vs. the interior courtyard view). Bathroom is roomy, water was hot quickly and water pressure was good. However, keep in mind that you may need a converter... More

The cost of the room in September was £50 a night including breakfast on alpharooms. I couldn't fault the hotel as it is well run and the facilities are good. My only minor complaint was that the twin beds are rather hard but otherwise the hotel is clean and although most of the rooms are a little dated it is... More

Well situated for walking into the centre, buses, and the metro, with taxis always outside. Comfortable, clean, WiFi with desk, Comprehensive breakfast buffet. Very helpful staff. Being just outside the busy centre the nights were quiet, for we who are unused to the late nights in Spain.

Very comfortable hotel. Beautiful and clean room with wi-fi and a nice desk to use computers. Very good bathroom with enough amenities and a bath tube. Excellent breakfast. Very good value for money. I was going to travel with my parents bu they could not go last minute. So the hotel staff changed the room from triple to double and... More
