Stayed for 3 nights at this hotel , room 625.The hotel was in a good position, with easy access both walking and by metro to all parts of Madrid. Next door was a coffee shop which seemed expensive, so didn't use. Rooms were clean and tidy, but very small, bed was about 4 foot, which would have been O.K. for... More

We went with an organised trip and this hotel was ideal for visiting the city at a reasonable price.. Not right in the centre but opposite the tourist bus route which takes you all round the city at a very reasonable price, and you can get off and on where you want to see the sights. The room was clean... More

we were travelling throughout Spain and Portugal and spent three nights here. Gonzela worked at the front desk and went way beyond to make our stay pleasant. He was pleasant, kind and professional. We did not find this in any of our other hotels during our 16 day tour and at least 6 different hotels.

The hotel is a solid 3-star European hotel. The rooms are actually good sized for a city and had plenty of storage including a mini fridge. Our king room (#503) overlooked the city (vs. the interior courtyard view). Bathroom is roomy, water was hot quickly and water pressure was good. However, keep in mind that you may need a converter... More

The cost of the room in September was £50 a night including breakfast on alpharooms. I couldn't fault the hotel as it is well run and the facilities are good. My only minor complaint was that the twin beds are rather hard but otherwise the hotel is clean and although most of the rooms are a little dated it is... More

Well situated for walking into the centre, buses, and the metro, with taxis always outside. Comfortable, clean, WiFi with desk, Comprehensive breakfast buffet. Very helpful staff. Being just outside the busy centre the nights were quiet, for we who are unused to the late nights in Spain.

Very comfortable hotel. Beautiful and clean room with wi-fi and a nice desk to use computers. Very good bathroom with enough amenities and a bath tube. Excellent breakfast. Very good value for money. I was going to travel with my parents bu they could not go last minute. So the hotel staff changed the room from triple to double and... More

Very nice, large room and friendly service. Easy walk to center of Madrid, about 15 minutes to Plaza Mayor. Metro station nearby. At the advice of other reviewers, we requested a renovated room. Not sure how the "older" rooms compare, but the room we were assigned was nice, large, and had the most closet space of any hotel room I've... More

This is a perfectly good value mid range hotel located a little way from the centre of Madrid but walkable nonethless. Failing that there are always taxis parked out front. As other reviews have pointed out rooms fall into two types, those that have been refurbished and those that have not. Disapointingly I was allocated one of the latter. Everything... More

I (the missus) stayed in this hotel in March 2014. This is what I like and did not like about the hotel: What I like: - Convenient location. A few stops away from the shopping area such as Gran Via and near two supermarkets. - Rooms were kept clean. - Reception spoke good English. What I did not like: -... More
