My daughter and I stayed at Suite Prado in separate apartments for six nights in February 2015. Our transatlantic flight arrived at about 8:30 a.m. and we took the airport-downtown Madrid express bus (Eur5 each one-way). The bus dropped us off at Atocha station. We took a taxi to the hotel (Eur8) but you could take the subway (we did... More

Nice place. Less than 10 min wlaking to Puerta del Sol. In the "Las letras" neigbourghood. Full of tascas, and the tipical "Madrid castizo". Although is in a place with bars and restaurants, the room are silent. The room for three is huge, and also have a small kitchen. It's very clean, the restrooms are well provided, and the staff... Read great reviews about this place and gave it á try. Approximately 625 foot room on a quiet street close to the Prado Museum and within walking distance to many other sites. We prefer staying in these corporate apartments in big cities as opposed to hotels. The room has a spacious bathroom with two sinks. They had a room ready... More

We stayed two nights. Very large suites with sitting area and small curing. Large separate bedroom. Great, breakfast rolls and jam. Not worth 9€. Save you money. Wifi is very limited and goes in and out. Room was clean and comfortable but would stay at room mate Alicia next time. Staff are very nice.

Regret that your stay with us was not to its full taste. Breakfast is served in the room and thought is complete but of course is not a buffet restaurant in a conference room. I regret also think that our staff was not friendly enough for your taste, I'll let you get to that department. More

I really wanted to give this place 4 stars, we liked the big spacious suite! It was a a big one bedroom with a lounge area, working tv,a kitchenette, couch, desk, all this for a pretty reasonable price. What we found disappointing was that the hot water on shower was running out after 3 minutes of use! And I mean... More

First I want to thank suscomentarios about our suites and the situation. On the topic of hot water are sorry that quedase short. All rooms have temos 100-150 liters of water and a closed reheating requires a few minutes of waiting circuit. Whenever we tend to give a solution to the client offering to a change of room or an... I had just one problem with my stay. The quality of the wifi connection. The hotel is near to the main places by walking. The hotel personnel was so nice. I will book the hotel again. The room was very comfortable and clean.

Do not quite understand if I had problems with the wifi but I hope a solution is found, yet I confirm that slow sometimes stay remedied this month with the installation of broadband in the property. Thanks for your opinions and continue to work to improve. More

Conveniently located amongst some terrific tapas bars we loved our room for the space. The hotel is well located for visiting Madrid. Puerto del Sol is a 5-10 minute walk. The Prado is a 10-15 minute walk. The train stations are easily reached by Metro (from Sol station). Our room had two double beds put together so it was uncomfortable. My hubby was too long for the bed and he is 6'0. We got the balcony and kitchenette room. Staying in Huertas

Neighborhood Profile
Huertas
Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once home to prominent literary figures, Miguel de Cervantes and Lope de Vega among them. The neighborhood is committed to celebrating its rich heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to them, and second-hand bookshops pervade. Huertas receives a fair amount of spillover from the center — side streets around Plaza Santa Ana take on a foreign party atmosphere at night, and you always see young backpackers navigating the streets — but as you descend into the neighborhood, everything becomes a little more cramped and slightly less refined, and takes on more of an underground feel. Live music is at the heart of Huertas: by night, its subdued bars are ideal for meeting friends, sipping cocktails, and chatting quietly while enjoying jazz or singer-songwriter performances.
