Booked this hotel because of it's price and favorable reviews. Stayed here for 5 nights. I've seen many rooms here. The newer wing has better rooms and bathrooms. I just dont understand why there is always one window that would fail to lock, this is why I keep asking to look at another room. We finally settled and hope that... More

Great location! Very clean. Good-size room, comfortable bed, plenty of drawer space, electric window blinds, safe easy to use (though it costs!), bathroom lovely, water always piping hot, easy-to-use shower, staff (reception and breakfast) pleasant and helpful. On the down-side, there was a lot of noise from outside in the early hours every night except Sunday, the wi-fi signal is... More

The first thing I have to say is that the location is really good. It is just a 5-minute walk to the Plaza del Sol in a really central and safe location. Even though I was in Madrid for business I chose to stay at Ingles because it allows you to do way more in the evenings. Landmarks, restaurants and... More

The hotel is one stone cast from Puerta del Sol. Nothing can beat that. We walked everywhere (the hotel has parking space though), but Gran Vía, Chueca and Lavapiés are within walking distance. The room we had was standard and very clean. The staff is very friendly, especially the girls from front desk and cafeteria. Breakfast is standard without pretensions... More

When visiting Madrid this is definitely one of the best choices. We stayed with the family 4 of us in a quadruple room spacious and very clean despite being an aged hotel. The hotel offers the greatest value for money in town, personalized service make up for the lack of fancy facilities and makes you feel at home. The breakfast... More

We just came back from madrid from a short break, and we got an excellent deal with breakfast included for about 50 euros for 2. the hotel was in the center of madrid, in a small side street. although the hotel is old and could use a renovation, i have to admit for the price we paid it was very... Great experience for our group of 30. Good sized rooms, clean and quaint. The guy on reception at daytime arrival excellent, couldn't fault. Girl on later in evening bit hopeless and girl at breakfast a bit frosty. Would definitely stay again, great location too.

Location: You can't get any better than this for location at this price. It's in the very heart of Madrid. Pretty much everything is in walking distance; The main art museums, the park, the botanical gardens, the Purerta Del Sol, the Palace, the Plaza Mayor, the Gran Via... and anything further away you can always get to on a quick... The hotel is middle of the XIX century, lies down a narrow street in the heart of Madrid. A private garage at the hotel. Walking distance to major sights: the Prado Museum, Palace Real Madrid, Puerto del Sol. WiFi in the rooms of excellent quality. Opposite a lovely bar La Venentsiya. The rooms are small, cozy and comfortable. All the... More
