I spent 4 days in this hotel and I can say that it's a good hotel. Location and style are the best aspects, the metro is really close to the hotel (3min) but is possible to arrive at the city center also by walking and the last but not the least the staff is really lovely..Thanks

I was in madrid for one night, NH hotel was of a great value considering the central location and the quality of the rooms. The only negative note is that there is a single person at the front desk during check out.

I really enjoyed my trip to NH Alonso Martinez. There is a Metro station close by which is great for getting around the city. The hotel is located in an area that is exciting, but not loud or super-busy. It's a great location and a clean place to call home for a few days.

This is a staff friendly clean hotel. The rooms are of suitable size with even larger bathrooms. Look to get a room overlooking the side street as it can be noisy. Close to a metro stop and good eateries nearby.

We were in madrid with a bunch of friend and we were given this hotel. The room was small and facing the internal part of the hotel. Room was clean but unfortunately very noise. Probably will not be my natural first choice if i return to madrid.

A good hotel in a good district of Madrid. Close to the metro Station, with a really nice team on site. A good breakfast and a free wifi access are available. I used several rooms, the quality is the same everywhere, in a modern style.

The hotel is located close to the metro station Alonso Martinez. Coming from the airport, take line 10 to nuevos ministerios and from there line 8. It should take about 40 minutes. The rooms are modern and nice and the breakfast was just amazing! The hotel is in walking distance to downtown Madrid. I recommend walking to Plaza de Chueca... More

Hotel is reasonably convenient for the airport (40 minutes by metro with just one change; 300m from station) and close to but just outside the central museums/ shopping/ restaurant area. There’s a good pasteleria nearby: Mallorca on c/Genova. Reception friendly and efficient. Printed my boarding card for me. Free espresso machine in lobby. My room was large, modern décor, good... I stayed at this hotel with my wife and the rooms don't have individual a/c control. That week was hot but the hotel still had the heating turned on so there was no way to cool down the room we barely could sleep, I felt like sleeping in a cheap motel I had to take a shower before sleeping, has... Staying in Chamberi

Neighborhood Profile
Chamberi
Multi-story residential buildings decorated with ornate balconies line the traditional, quiet, and pretty streets of Chamberí. Humble storefronts and neighborhood taverns are scattered across the lower levels down every block, and here and there, there's a cluster of tables on the sidewalk. It isn't ever crowded, but people are always out, poking into the tiny bakeries, hardware stores, and tobacco shops, or ducking into a bright, unadorned cerveceria to have a coffee or beer by the bar, flip through the paper, and check the sports score. The round Plaza Olavide, where the fairly regular network of streets breaks form, is among the most green and lively spots. Restaurants line its circumference and sought-after outdoor tables fill the center of the plaza, where people relax to the sounds of kids playing and street musicians' tunes.
