I stayed here for two nights having booked a non refundable room at an excellent rate. Our rate didn't include breakfast and I have no idea how much extra it cost, but those in our group who did have it reported that it was very good.
The rooms themselves were extremely clean and a decent size for such a centrally...

I stayed at the Hotel Liabeny with my husband and 2 other couples. The hotel is lovely, very nice décor, rooms and staff. The hotel is right in the heart of Sol and you can walk to all the main attractions within a couple of minutes. I read reviews about noise at night but none of us noticed any noise...

Agree with contributor "gbwjr" that this was a good value and decent hotel in a great location. Compared to the nearby Best Western Carlos V hotel, this one has more space, better shower, nicer lobby, and friendlier staff for the same price range. The hotel is also safe and security is good....even access to the stairs requires a key card....

This was one of the best of our trip. An older style, one block from Puerta del Sol and it's crowds, but on a guiet street (Calle Salud) opposite a church, and two blocks from Gran Via. Not expensive. Had a very nice room, twins, on the street side but quiet. Nice working bath. TV ok but dont use the...

This hotel is in a very central position and many of the main sights of the city are within walking distance. The hotel has a rather impersonal feel about it, but the staff are helpful if asked and the room we had was a good size and clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was well laid out with plenty of...

I stayed in the Liabeny with my fiance for two nights while in Madrid on vacation. The hotel is centrally located, right by Plaza del Sol and a short walk from Plaza Mayor. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel restaurant was a bit expensive for breakfast, but there are tons of cheap cafes a short walk away. When...

Great location close to all attractions. Only one complaint, we wanted to go bull fighting and the hotel said it would cost more than what was on the ticket, as they had to go for them from an agent, when I asked if I could go, they proceeded to show me a shop 20 mtrs away were I could get...

It is not often these days that you will walk into an Hotel and feel like you have stepped back in time. With the Liabeny we got this wonderful feel as we stepped through the doors. It was as though we had been transported back to the 70's and we loved it! The Hotel has a lovely feel and we...

We had a 22-hour layover in Madrid, and I wanted to book a hotel that was in the middle of the city so we could walk around and see what was there. The Hotel Liabeny was a perfect location for our purpose. And on the plus side as well, the hotel was very nice. The staff was very helpful and...
