We really liked this hotel! Beautiful well appointed room and bathroom. Very nice staff. Excellent location (though google maps has crap walking directions be careful!) but we found it in the end after asking some nice policemen (multiple times). Newspapers on offer, easy to check in, safe in room. The only thing I wanted was some coffee. But you could... More

Madrid in December? Not an obvious choice, but will do it again! This hotel was perfect and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful and location was brilliant. Eating out was surprisingly cheap and Xmas shopping was fantastic! El Corte Ingles was just around the corner and the Mercado de san Miguel was very close. Set taxi fares... More

Great location in the middle of the city. Close to many shopping streets. Around 25 min walk to Prado museum and around 15 min walk to Temple of Debod and Royal place. Room was very clean with air-condition and safe box, fast wifi and TV with many channels (including BBC and CNBC). Highly recommended.

Great, clean hotel right in the middle of Madrid. Easy walking distance to many of the main sights of this wonderful city. We had a corner room which had dual aspect. Great room, very clean. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Would definitely go back when we return to Madrid.

From the hotel, it's a short walk to the El Cortes Ingles department store, the Plaza de la Puerto del Sol, the Mercado de San Maguel, the Plaza Mayor, and the Gran Via. It took us 20 minutes to get to the Palais Real, and it was a pleasant 30 minutes walk to the Prado. We also found a reasonable... More

The location of this hotel is great!!! It's close to public transportation (several metro stations) and walking distance to some tourist areas. I did find the staff to be a little cold. I certainly don't expect to be greeted with extreme happiness, however, I also don't like cold, fact-of-the-matter attitude. The room was big enough for my mother and I,... More

All about the location: on the back of the Main Street and 5min from the main square, yet on a quiet little square itself- the hotel could not be better placed. Rooms are spacious and good value, albeit nothing luxurious, and the staff are friendly. I'd stay there every time.

My wife and I stayed here on our first trip to Madrid in mid September. Perfect time of year to travel to Madrid with warm days and cool nights. We had an interior room looking in to the interior court yard on the 2nd floor so nothing to look at, but the roo was spacious, comfortable and clean. We spent... More

This hotel was in the perfect location, rooms facing small plaza in front had large windows and double pane windows making noise not a factor. The higher the floor the better the view. Great water pressure in showers. Large grocery/department store just a block away. Pedestrian only streets in several direction..... the Puerta del Sol plaza (nearby) is a very... More
