I unfortunately choose this hotel and stayed for 6 weeks as the location was near my workplace, Thank god i did not have to pay for this myself as i would have definitely not stayed. My husband and I travel throughout Europe on trains and planes. However our intrdouction to Madrid Spain was two immigration officials asking fo rour passports. When we produced EU passports they seemed a bit surprised. Stayed here for a night with my grandmother. Room was upgraded to junior suite but we were given a smoking room instead of non-smoking. In general it is over priced and too far from the city centre. There are no restaurants in the vicinity and you have to take a cab/metro into town. Concierge/doormen are excellent. Reception staff friendly enough, however the general feeling is that they are doing you a favour by letting you stay there. The whole place left me underwhelmed. more
