We had three club rooms for a few nights last week as a short family holiday and I wanted to use TA to express my great appreciation for the way we were looked after from start to finish. The hotel is a little way from the downtown area but very well situated for the Bernabeu, business/financial districts. There are two... More

I recently stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel in Madrid for a work trip there. It was my 3rd or 4th visit at this particular hotel during the last 5 years. When I got out of the cab, i was greeted by Carlos Sanchez, who remembered my name and welcomed me back. The front desk was equally friendly. A concierge by... More

We needed to relax for one night before heading north to Rioja and the Basque Country. IC are usually a safe bet, had not stayed here before. Nice rooms, decent size and well appointed. Service and staff were good and very helpful. well located in Madrid.

I was treated as expected by an Intercontinental, especially that I have the Gold Ambassador status which guarantees upgrade of room and free internet as well as club access. Overall superb experience. The only downside of this wonderful hotel is the absence of swimming pool :(

We arrived late afternoon, traffic was terrible ( very scarey place to drive )checking in was simple all went well. The Hotel itself is nicely situated in a quiet area but you can get to any area very quickly( taxi rank in front of Hotel). Our room was very comfortable, the beds were soft, as were the pillows unlike most... More

2nd time back at this hotel and a massive improvement since my first. The open courtyard was a great touch to bask in the great weather. Also as an IHG Rewards club customer i managed to get an upgrade to a room with a balcony overlooking the said courtyard. Very nice touch!! Room was great, perfectly decorated and furnished. Fruit... The IC Madrid is located near the Goya & Salamanca area, great for shopping and sight seeing. There are a few notable restaurants within walking distance, there's a subway which brings you to most of the tourist action within the city. I was so pleased that the size of my room was too big for an european hotel. There were more than 80 TV channels available. Friendly staff, I couldn't say anything bad about them. Fast wired internet connection (I tried, and liked, the wired connection because the wi-fi connection wasn't that fast to be honest). There is only one negative... More
