We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is on a quiet street about 5 mins from the tube station so really convenient for getting around Madrid. The staff were polite and efficient. The room had a bedroom with en suite bathroom and a lounge area with a sofa bed and unlike other hotels we have stayed in were everything... more

I stayed at The Muralto in June 2009. The suite had a small kitchen and a notice saying that anything we needed could be had from reception, although past experience means I tavel with a camp kettl.e, The room was serviced with clean towels every day even though this was not necessary. The staff were friendly and most spoke English... more

I've arrived to the hotel rather tired, after a transatlantic flight, not really having any expectations. But... Unfortunately, this place is an overpriced dump. Yes, it's close to Gran Via, however I've stayed on Gran Via for less money in nicer accomodations. There is a kitchen in the room. Yippie. The TV was broken. Well, I don't usually watch TV,... more

Very nice hotel with big room and big bathroom. Some staff was helpful while others were not. Taxis have difficulty finding this hotel unless you tell them exact address. Walkable distance to Gran Via (shopping street) and Plaza Espana. Provided a small bed for my daughter to sleep on (not the best mattress but it was nice to have). more

Excellent hotel, very large rooms and bathrooms, well decorated. The locations is very good, 1 block from Princesa street, 1 block form El Corte Ingles, 1 block from the metro station, 3 block from Plaza de España. Very close to downtown Madrid, 15 minutes walk. Downtown Madrid is a very crowded and noisy area, so being in a quiet and... more

We spent one night in this hotel in July. It was our last night during our 3 week trip around Europe. We arrived later than we wanted from Barcelona, so we decided to go to sleep early and get up early to see the sites before we had to fly out in the afternoon. We decided to get up at... more

We stayed here for 3 nights with our 2.5 year old child. We had a big apt. with a separate bedroom, then a lounge/ dining room and separate kitchen. Hotel is in a good location, about 2 mins. walk from Arguelles metro station (good interchange for 3 lines). It took about 30 mins from the airport. Huge dept. store (El... more
