Attentive, friendly staff and well-appointed, upholstered rooms that were quiet and very comfortable helped make our short stay in Madrid enjoyable. We passed on the pricey hotel breakfast, opting instead for the lively cafe across the street, with its fresh pastries, Spanish breakfast dishes, and excellent espresso beverages. For those who crave their Starbucks, there's a location a few blocks... More

Locate in the Salamanca District, walking distance to Ortega & Gasset / Calle de Serrano, Parque del Retiro, etc. Very attentive staff and well appointed rooms. We will be back and recommend to friends.

All good.Nice rooms, nice staff. A bit better then average. But I think we were the only people staying - so lacked an 'atmosphere' as such. and not really much else there apart from your room and a tiny lobby bar. Good location. Really a 3.5 - good.

Perfect location, attentive well trained staff. This hotel is exactly what I expect from a 5 star hotel. It is posh but not snooty. The restuarant is excellent. The rooms are spacious and very nicely decorated. I will most certainly return A gold star from me !

The staff at this hotel could not have been nicer or more helpful. They helped us navigate the city and book dinner reservations for New Year's Eve at the very last minute. The rooms have that old world charm with comfortable beds and plenty of space. The internet could have been better. Quite slow in the rooms.

An impeccably managed boutique hotel in the middle of Madrid. Relationships are more important for this hotel than "nights" From the minute you walk in to your final hasta luego, the Adler experience is consistently excellent

This was our second stay at the Adler hotel and it did not disappoint. The hotel is located in the heart of Madrid, in the upscale Salamanca district, close to transportation, shopping, and many fine restaurants. It is a small hotel with a warm elegant feel. The room we had was beautifully decorated, well appointed, had loads of storage space, and... More

We stayed at this small but upscale hotel for one night on our way to Seville. Even though we've been to Madrid many times, this was one of the nicest neighborhoods away from the touristy areas. The staff, concierge and front desk were very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our train pass and the evening concierge went... More

Salamanca quarter is the most distinguished and exclusive in the city and besides near from the touristic area, boutiques and restaurants. The whole staff make every effort to feel our guests “being at home”. The concierge provides any information and print a boarding pass if necessary. Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighborhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
