We stayed in premium level suite 11th floor. Fantastic. Fantastic service. Level amenities very good. View of Madrid great. All shops and restaurants close proximity. Doormen can park your car outside hotel (probably for a good tip) otherwise public car park next to hotel costs 24EUR/day. Fantastic breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel in February, for a business meeting I was having in Madrid for my team, and I want to acknowledge everyone at this hotel for a great service, authentic welcome and dedication. A very special thank you for Fatima Pelligrina, for all the help, with a smile all the way, with my lost package. The hotel... More

Excellent location. Close to downtown, but quiet relaxed. Rooms are clean and adequate. Breakfast is very goog. The resraurant at the hotel is not the best. Pretentious, expensive and not at all a good sample of Madrid's excellent cuisine.

I'm sorry, but this time I will be very clear. Find another hotel. Yes, the situation is quite good, the wifi works properly, and yes the service is really kind and helpful... But all the good things are these ones. Like almost every single Meliá hotel, this one is aged. You notice it in the size and details inside the... More

Despite the first impression when you see it from outside, it's a great place where to spend couple of days off, enjoying the views from the top floors. Good customer service, very nice and polite. The location can't be better, as is in the main avenue of the capital. Close to Plaza España, you can get where you want, easily... More

We chose to stay on The Levels in this lovely hotel, which was well worth the upgrade for the personal service and the use of the Levels lounge and bar - a welcome haven after a busy day's sightseeing. Two coeliacs in our party were more than adequately catered for in the breakfast buffet and nothing was too much trouble.... More

The staff was vey friendly and attentive to our needs. Your breakfast service was very good and provided a great range of choices for all our family. The room was exactly what was advertised on the package and very clean and comfortable. I appreciated the family friendly atmosphere in the lobby and restaurant areas since I have a 9 year... More

I loved the hotel and the employees were wonderful. Very helpful with everything!!! My plane arrived early and I was able to check in and go to my room at 10:00 a.m. an experience I had never had in Europe before. I was so happy to be able to "settle in" before exploring the city. I didn't like the fact... More

The location of this property is just off the Grand Via, close to the Plaza España, and within walking distance to the Palacio Real. If you're willing, and like to walk a bit, this is a good value for the Museum and old town areas. We stayed here 3 nights in March. The room was modern and clean. The room... More

Staying in Arguelles

Neighborhood Profile
Arguelles
Just south of the sprawling campus of the Complutense University of Madrid, Arguelles exudes a fast-paced, collegiate vibe. The main street, Calle Princesa, is filled with twenty-somethings rushing between classes and errands, meeting up with classmates, and grabbing cheap beers and cheap eats. This is a prime shopping spot where the major Spanish clothing and department store chains are less busy than their downtown counterparts, and there is an array of casual dining options to choose from. Check out nearby outdoor spaces such as the lushly planted Plaza de España to the south, which is often filled with craft stalls. To the west of Arguelles is the giant Parque Oueste, a calm and picturesque park with its own Egyptian temple.
