Rudolfo(the host of this place) is such a wonderful man. just wonderful. the second you see him, u'll instantly feel that you'r welcomed. feel very safe and stable here. it was one of the few times i wanted to come ' home' without much travelling outside. and the room is very beautifully decorated. frankly, i donno much about Velasquez and... We stayed at the Artistic B & B this past fall on trip to Madrid. Let me start by saying that this was a very quaint, lovely B&B. The only thing I would change is the size of my suitcase. No one's fault but my own since I had read it was up several flights of stairs!! Rudolfo very kindly... More

Stayed 3 nights in May 2014. Fairly easy to find from bus ride in from airport, but get good instructions. Rudolfo is a great host, very friendly and knowledgeable about the city. Serves a very good breakfast. Room is pretty clean, but we faced the street, and no room in Europe that faces the street is particularly quiet. Nobody's fault,... More

We stayed four nights with Roberto and Paola and we thouroughly enjoyed it. Very well located in friendly neighbourhood, near to the Prado and the Thyssen, good rooms (some better than others, we changed our room after the second night without any problem), good breakfast (would even have rated excellent with better coffee) and excellent atmosphere. Our hosts both ot... More

My wife and I stayed in Artistic B&B in September, 2014. It is well located in a charming old section of Madrid, near pedestrian only streets, and quite near the museums that attract many to Madrid. Ours hosts, Rudolfo and Paola, two Argentines, spoke English and assisted us in our exploration of Madrid, scheduling our museum visits for the times... More

If you like intimate, cozy, friendly, and centrally located lodgings, you will love this one! Paula and Rodolpho couldn't be nicer or more helpful. The location is also wonderful, centrally located and very close to a Metro stop. We booked a room here for our first several nights in Spain and loved it so much we booked it again for... More

The bed and breakfast is hidden behind an inconspicuous door on a quiet street, but inside are wonderfully decorated rooms, welcoming hosts, and a great base of operations for your Madrid explorations. The location would be hard to beat, within easy walking distance of the three main museums in Madrid, and a stone throw to Puerta del Sol and the... More

One of the most comfortable and friendly hotels we have ever stayed at. From the great welcome and advice to a local room with a small balcony overlooking a quiet street, we loved every minute. If you want a friendly welcome and rooms individually decorated to a high standard then stay here. Breakfast is very good and a great chance... More

We picked this B&B based on the website pictures and TA reviews, and the reality was even better than expected. We had two rooms, they were so beautifully and creatively decorated, the beds were comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean. Some rooms are larger than others, depends on what you need. Paola and Rodolfo were lovely and welcoming, and had much... More

This was our first time in Madrid so I did not know what to expect. We loved our B&B in Barcelona and Valencia so we thought we would try one in Madrid. I truly loved this B&B! It was decorated so cool inside! We rented out 2 rooms for the two families traveling. Everyone had their own bathroom. Our host... More
