Stayed here a while back for my Dads 50th. the rooftop pool is a real deal breaker in staying here, un believable views form the roof. its right on Ganvia and the staff are very friendly, rooms are basic but fine. would reccomend

In the best location , the heart of Madrid, close to everything for tourists needs. The staff were very helpful and kind. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the breakfast quite good with a decent range. As with all city centre hotels there is quite a bit of noise.

Loved the hotel. It has nice staff, a very luxury welcoming lobby and elegant rooms. The room had a very bizarre layout... but had all the luxuries you'd expect from this hotel. Really nothing to complain about.

Hotel Emperador, Madrid, Spain: Location is excellent on Gran Via. Easy walking distance to most sights. Santo Domingo metro entrance just outside door, Callao just 2 blocks away. Plenty of stores in this area .Room 101 was spacious with 2 French balconies and view of street. Amenities: minibar/refrigerator, tea kettle, safe, AC/Heat, but no clock. Many easily accessible plugs for... More

Having stayed three nights in this hotel in the very centre of the Madrid's Gran Via, I have to sum up my experience as very positive. The room I had was very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast served was tasty and also of quite good range. The only dissapoitment was the wi-fi, which really didn't work well, especially in that... More

The best part of this hotel was its location. We were able to walk to most of the places that we wanted to see and made use of quite a few taxis as well. I asked for a firmer matress as I have a bad back and this problem was sorted by having a board under the matress which worked... More

The biggest advantage is the location and for this I give them a 5-star. But overall customer service is very poor. For example wifi is only at reception area, but there are only 5 seats overall in lobby. I told them the room was not of my choice but they didn't care. The room air conditioning is centrally managed but... More

stayed for business in this hotel. Firstly, this is an older hotel but has the nice touches like a door between the room and the bathroom and front door. Be aware they DONT provide an iron so if you need a shirt ironed you'll have to pay €9 each! The Emperador club simply isn't worth it, just some nuts/crisps, soft... More

We stayed here for several nights. Street noise is loud, but the Madrid nightlife runs into the wee hours and the traffic noise should be expected if you stay in this desirable area. Walking to the Prada, and various plazas is easy. The shopping and restaurants is overwhelming. Our room was located on the street with an amazing view and... More
