Good location, near a subway station, 2-4 stops to the main attractions. Room was clean, but very simple. Definitely 3 star, not 4 star. But no complaints as I got it on Orbitz for the price so low, I do not want even mention here. You can not get a simple motel in the US for that price. Located in... More

Was first time at this hotel. Stayed 2 nights. Room spacious, clean, confortable. Staff was very kind and helpful. Great location, close to the airport and to the center by the subway. Close to nice shops and restaurant. Highly suggested.

Well located 38 room 4 star hotel. Small quite street from P. Castellana to Serrano. Attentive service. The level of the facilities of the hotel correspond to a 3 star hotel. Although the rooms are clean, the corridor carpets are quite stained. It's in need of a general overhaul.

We stayed in a junior suit and for a family of 4 (with young kids) it was fine. The fact the room has a fold out bed and separate bedroom helped a lot. The hotel is in a very good location for shopping and close to the number 5 (I think) metro line which has a number of attractions on... More

I read many online reviews about this hotel before booking and wasn't sure what to expect. I am glad I stayed here. From check-in to check-out, everything about this hotel met our needs and expectations. To be sure, it is not a 5-star resort hotel and doesn't pretend to be. It is, however, a very clean, well managed property in... More

Spent 3 nights in this hotel. Was there celebrating our anniversary and the hotel upgraded us to a junior suite, and gave us a lovely bottle of cava. Staff very nice and friendly. Great location with a selection of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was adequate.

The hotel is slap bang in the middle of Salamanca, a really lovely district but thankfully hidden on a side street! I would agree with the other reviews that it's a little bit dated on the decor, but why does that even matter??! A great wee hotel, clean, convenient location, not too far from all amenities - go enjoy Madrid!

The hotel is very well located, in a quiet residential area, but not far from the centre. The rooms are quite spacious and clean. Kind and helpful personnel. Prices are not bad at all for this neighbourhood. Good breakfast. Ideal for business trips.

Stayed here for 5 nights in a business trip end of september beginning of october.. Not a bad hotel. Location wise not the best for the convention centre however that was our fault! Nice staff who try to speak english again not their fault but ours. Small elevator. Large room with balcony around, big bathroom. Bed was ridiculously hard however... More

Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighborhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
