The rooms are very spacious, spottlessly clean & comfortable. Great selection for breakfast. Wi-fi costs a reasonable 4 euro for 24hr period. The location, which is about a 10 minute walk from the nearest metro station (Marques de Vadillo), which itself is a 10 minute ride to the centre of Madrid, this was not an issue for me, as i... more

Hotel Praga is a good hotel, I'm not quite sure why it's gotten so many negative reviews on here! For the price it is certainly worth it; it has everything you would hope for. It was very clean, the room was spacious enough (we stayed in a triple room), and we had no problems with noise. I'm also not sure... more

It's not as dreadful as some of the reviews here suggest. Yes, it is not a central hotel, but the metro and bus are pretty convenient. Also there are some cheaper bars and shops around you on account of it not being central. The rooms are clean, although the whole hotel does seem to be a smoking hotel and smells... more

For what we paid for this hotel for New Year's Eve, we were impressed with the quality. It was a much nicer hotel than most I've stayed in in Europe. The rooms were clean and spacious. While the hotel wasn't close to downtown, the metro was only a 10 minute walk away, and the bus out front went directly to... more

My girlfriend and I stayed here for about a week and I was not impressed with it at all. This was by far the worst hotel we stayed at in our 4 week stay in Europe. Staff seemed to be plentiful but noone appeared to be doing anything, the reception staff were amazingly unhelpful. The food for buffet dinner and... more

Hotel Praga, Madrid, claims to be a 4 star hotel. This is far from the case. From the beginning of our stay we were constantly unimpressed with hotel services. Checking in alone took over 20 mins. Only one staff member was checking people in while three others stood around doing what appeared to be nothing. Furthermore, staff on many ocassions... more

Been traveling for a long time to over 15 different countries. This hotel was the worst in all my experiences. The staff seem to hate and detest all their guests. It seems to be a system wide problem as anybody at the front desk is insanely rude, even at check in or check out. The rooms are a joke. The... more

Pricing and location are great for this hotel. There is a bus stop for bus route 23 right outside of the hotel that will take you to the Plaza Mayor and there is another station on the other side of freeway M30 for bus route 55 which takes you to Atocha station where you can take the trains or walk... more

The Hotel Praga is roughly 25-30 minutes from the airport and a taxi costs around €25-30. Hotel Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not in the the centre, but the centre is very easy to get to via the underground.. 3day underground pass cost for €11, and you can travel the whole of madrid. more
