A lot of stores, restaurants in area frequented by locals so they were cheaper at prices for middle class locals. A block from main city river with pleasant clean recreation, children playgrounds, jogging paths, etc. along both banks which were 10 Km. long as told by tour guide. Near one professional soccer stadium. Taxi easy to find ans buslines avaialble.... More

My boyfriend brought me here for 3 nights for a city break in Madrid. The location is convenient to the bus and metro. The bus stop is right outside the door and really regular and the metro is 5-10 mins walk from the door. Take a walk up to the metro staying on the same side of the street as... More

We booked this through Groupon for a hen party and visited this weekend during the heat wave. My colleagues who are Spanish locals said the weather was unusual for May but we loved it! We were thankful that this hotel had aircon! We arrived at the hotel at 1pm and they let us check in early with no troubles at... More

We stayed in this hotel back in April and found it an interesting experience, when we got dropped off, the taxi driver advised us never to keep anything in our back pockets and always keep an eye on your bag. Not really an issue if you're careful. The rooms themselves were pretty good, we booked a double room and got... More

We stayed here privately for a couple of nights before and after a Cosmo tour. For those travelling, make sure you book privately, rather than add on to the tour. Firstly, they charge way more than the internet, and secondly you get directed towards a completely sub-standard dining room catering for the bulk of tour groups! When we stayed privately,... More

We stayed at this hotel for five days we spent as a holiday in Madrid in mid April. Good choice was to buy breakfest for 8,-Eur (buffet with lot of fruits, sweets, jamon, cheese, muesli, scrambled eggs, bacon etc.) The three course "menu del dia" we tried once during our stay and it was very tasty and cheap - 10,-Eur. Because... More

This hotel was inexpensive, 10 minutes from the subway and right next to a bus stop. Like many European hotels, it wasn't the largest room, but it was certainly a good value for the money! More

We stayed at Hotel Praga in April, 2012 for two days while on a Cosmo tour. Found the hotel to be very clean. Rooms were spacious. Good AC and the windows opened for fresh air and with little traffic noise as we were on the 6th floor. We found the staff to be both polite and helpful (albeit, they are... More

I wasn't sure what to expect from the hotel given its price (~40 GBP per night for a double room, exc breakfast) but the other TA reviews suggested it was worth a go. I visited with my parents and we were very pleased with our choice. A little way out of the centre the bus stop is directly outside the... More

Travelling the first time to a city without knowing where to book can be perplexing but this hotel looked somewhat appealing. It is very far from the centre of it all though close enough to the greatest flea market happening in Madrid ... The Rastro. The room was fine, nothing to write home about and we felt it did not...
