Last time I stayed in this hotel was in 2002. Hasn’t really changed at all since then. The location of Asturias is fantastic, minutes from Puerta del Sol, right in the centre of Madrid and within walking distance of many of the main attractions. It is also only a short distance to and from Plaza de Cibeles, to connect with... More

This is the last place anyone should ever stay. There was what appeared to be cocaine on the floor of my room and no air conditioning, which when it's 90 degrees at night should be required. The hotel looked like someone took a giant poop and then shaped it into a hotel. To all those that have actually enjoyed this... More

We booked this mainly on price and location more than anything. We noticed it was near plaza sol and the prices were reasonable so we kind of new it wasn't going to be amazing. However on arrival, we were greeted by a nice lady at reception who checked us in and complimented me on how good my 'castillano' was. So... More

I stayed here with a friend for two nights. Price of 46 euros a night is a great bargain. The hotel itself if asthetically pleasing. Lovley decore and the rooms are large and comfortable. As a hotel manager myself I understand the importance of customer service needed to coincide with a good looking establishment. Unfortunately the staff at hotel asturias... More

Stayed only one night at Hotel and that was to long. Arrived in Madrid and needed a place to stay. Booked thru Expedia, what a dive. Everything about our room and the hotel was disappointing. The room smelled, the bath tub had stains in it, the beds where made, but there was something wet soaked thru the sheets, there was... More

Okay first of all, you should stay at the Asturius because it has an excellent location...it is very close to Sol Plaza... and it was cheap, at around €60 per night. Avoid the breakfast, it is rubbish and there is far better on offer just ten steps away on the street for the same price. Do not rely on the... More

First, clearly the hotel is in a good location. I can't deny that and our was handy as we could easily escape it every second we were awake. The price is low but in this shouldn't justify lack of basic hygiene and comforts. Our plastic floor had hairs all over it, the bedding was very dubious and I need to... More

The best thing about this hotel is the fantastic location. It is literally a 2 minute walk from the lovely sol square with all it's shops, bars and restaurants. It is also a 10 minute walk to the park which is a must to visit. Now the rooms... Definately basic and not the cleanest of rooms but we went to... More

We arrived at the hotel from Madrid Airport Barajas, we also purchased a 3 day Metro Ticket on our easyJet flight which worked out cheaper than buying at the airport, took the Metro from the airport T1, T2 & T3 Terminals (Pink Line) to Columbia (Purple), Columbia (Purple) to Principe de Vergara (Red) and get off at Sevilla (Red), once... Dear guest, We are very glad to know that you liked our location in the very center of the typical Madrid, just one step walking to lots of interesting and historical places, and sorrounded of lots of bars and restaurants.
