Stayed only one night at Hotel and that was to long. Arrived in Madrid and needed a place to stay. Booked thru Expedia, what a dive. Everything about our room and the hotel was disappointing. The room smelled, the bath tub had stains in it, the beds where made, but there was something wet soaked thru the sheets, there was... More

Okay first of all, you should stay at the Asturius because it has an excellent location...it is very close to Sol Plaza... and it was cheap, at around €60 per night. Avoid the breakfast, it is rubbish and there is far better on offer just ten steps away on the street for the same price. Do not rely on the... More

First, clearly the hotel is in a good location. I can't deny that and our was handy as we could easily escape it every second we were awake. The price is low but in this shouldn't justify lack of basic hygiene and comforts. Our plastic floor had hairs all over it, the bedding was very dubious and I need to... More

The best thing about this hotel is the fantastic location. It is literally a 2 minute walk from the lovely sol square with all it's shops, bars and restaurants. It is also a 10 minute walk to the park which is a must to visit. Now the rooms... Definately basic and not the cleanest of rooms but we went to... More

We arrived at the hotel from Madrid Airport Barajas, we also purchased a 3 day Metro Ticket on our easyJet flight which worked out cheaper than buying at the airport, took the Metro from the airport T1, T2 & T3 Terminals (Pink Line) to Columbia (Purple), Columbia (Purple) to Principe de Vergara (Red) and get off at Sevilla (Red), once... Dear guest, We are very glad to know that you liked our location in the very center of the typical Madrid, just one step walking to lots of interesting and historical places, and sorrounded of lots of bars and restaurants. Nevertheless being in this lively area of the city can ocassionaly become a little crowdy. Please apologize us We are... More

My partner & I stayed here for a long weekend, checked in Friday & checked out Monday. Lovely old building, although the décor inside was a bit dated. The staff were very friendly, even tolerating my poor attempts at Spanish. Our room was large & had a terrace-type area which gave lovely views of the city, especially at night. My... More

We found the traffic noise appalling. The room had a terrible smell which we complained about. The managment sent the cleaning lady with air freshener which was useless. We think the smell was something they cleaned the floor with. We had to pay for WIFI as they appeared to have blocked any other access to WIFI. The guy at the... More

Nice and cosy hotel in the heart of Madrid. Good value for money. The hotel itself (breakfast, rooms, furniture) is quite humble, but it is a very good choice for those who prefer spending time enjoying the city rather than staying at the hotel.

My wife booked this hotel for its location which was great, a minutes walk from Puerta del Sol and the rest of the old part of the city. The hotel itself was probably the worst I have ever been in.
