The retro style theme of this hotel will catch your eye the moment you enter here. Has a huge ground floor lounge with plenty of seating and free internet corner (non QWERTY keyboard). The staffs are very cordial although they run on very lean staffing. The restaurant on the first floor serves the variety of items in the breakfast (came... More

I stayed here for a few days during a business trip. My lasting memory was in the bathroom and in particular the Whirlpool bath shower combo. I loved the unusual furniture and the fresh fruit always available on the coffee table. A great destination for a business trip.

The hotel has a terrible decoration. You feel like you are staying on Louis XIV palace (Versalles). Stationary is too old. The hotel has a terrible location if you dont have car, metro is too far away. They claim to have the closest station 10 minutes walking time but its really 20.

Walking distance to our office, so this was the main reason for booking here. Also, the rate was very good. Although it is a modern building, it is filled with antique furniture, some of it a bit creepy in the large reception area (19th century pram), so had the feel of a museum. The theme continues into the rooms with... More

Oldfashioned hotel, if you come to Madrid as a tourist and visit the Royal Palaces, you may think you stayed there in for sleeping. Old furniture in really big rooms with a living room and a balcony. If you have a good dress you will love to use the great stairs at the hall, just for the photos. Nice staff,... More

We stayed here for two nights and were pleasantly suprised. Ill start with the negatives first. Its around a 15 minute walk to the train station from the hotel with trains taking around 5-15 minutes into Madrid. The train is a lot quicker from Chamartin station rather than taking the metro from bambu. Its pretty cheap aswell. And secondly, the... More

I thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Foxa M30. The room was spacious with a jacuzzi and a bathtub... the spread of breakfast was very nice and the staff very accommodating and pleasing to talk to. The location is a little far from the Madrid Metro, around 10-12 minutes walk. But otherwise it is an excellent place to stay and have... More

On first impressions this is a grand hotel with a very Spanish theme, how it does not take long to realise that the financial downturn may be effecting its standards and facilities. Staff are friendly, hotel is clean and a pleasant environment, how ever the following has been questionable: - although rooms have TV channels stating what programs both Spanish... More

There are three reasons why I regularly stay in this hotel when I'm in Madrid: (i) It is next to my parents place (but for visitors that want to visit the center is not very convinient): (ii) rooms are very large; (iii) it has a nice gymn/spa; (iv) during weekends it has reasonable prices (70-80 EUR). Reception staff is average,... More
