Despite the poor reviews I stayed here for a night to be near Nuevos Ministerios metro station. It was a bad idea. The reception area is quite grand, with the faded glamour and opulence of an old stately home. But the bedrooms are vile. The problem is the rooms smell like a musty old ashtray. My room stank so much... More

It is a nice hotel in a very good location - 5 minutes walk to Santiago Bernabeu stadium and 10 minutes walk to Nuevos Ministerios subway which goes to the airport. The hotel keeps an "oldish" style but it is clean and the working personnel is very communicative and helpful. The taxi to the Barajas airport are fixed rate -... More

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as part of a solo travel around Europe. There are not many good points about this hotel except that there was an ok buffet breakfast in the morning and that the reception/foyer area was luxuriously decorated but very deceptive of the rest of the hotel. The reception staff on my arrival appeared... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights as close to the office. Reception is very light & bright lots of older style furniture. Grand lights & massive water feature. Staff were helpful and spoke English very well. The room itself was a dated twin overlooking an internal courtyard so was very quiet. Bathroom was very dated but also spotlessly clean.... More

This hotel was booked as it was convenient to a business meeting I was attending. It does feel outdated, but it was clean, functional, spacious and had free internet access. The staff were helpful, courteous and efficient. The area is good for a lone traveler with bars, cafes and restaurants all in the same street - and very, very reasonably... More

Two nights in a hotel in need of a makeover. The facility is aged, old rooms with shabby furniture and without soundproofing. The staff unfriendly and little available. Median breakfast, having noticed that the staff was slow to replenish the food that went over.

Stayed at hotel on late november. Staff is amazing, helpful and not miserable. Rooms are not great but its ok. If i go back again it would be because of staff. I lost my glasses and emailed them in case if they found and strait respond. Well done.

On an overnight business stay my counterparts reserved Gran Atlanta. It proved convenient, on a good location near the Castellana, with friendly staff. Beds are simple and the bathroom outdated, but good value for money and clean.

It is located in the business district, and it happens to be also an upscale residential neighborhood. Short walk from the Real Madrid soccer stadium. The hotel is clean, the staff very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are OK. It would be nice if the hotel gets an updating, but I think that this fact is factored in the price,... More

Wasn't my choice of hotel (booked through a business travel agency at work). Cheap but not especially cheerful. Hotel room was very basic but clean. Single bed was quite uncomfortable with only a very thin pillow. The room was air-conditioned for which I was grateful. There was quite considerable noise later on at night. The location was however very convenient.
