Lacking in imagination or originality, this hotel gave me creeps - maybe it's the cold welcome (literally) - when I arrived ALL the windows in my room were open, and that's in 12 degrees weather, or very dark rooms, or lack of luck in reaching the front desk from my room, because they wouldn't pick up the phone (ever!). The... More

We were allowed an early check-in and, after some parking confusion (don't park in the lot with the hotel's name unless only to unload luggage - the people at the front desk will tell you a cheaper place), we checked into our spacious and well-appointed, quiet room. The best part was the close proximity to the user-friendly Metro. Though the... More

This hotel is opposite to the main train line from Airport to town. However, pick pockets are a problem while on the train - so be wary. Taxis are expensive as anywhere else in cities. It is better to know some Spanish bcos I found communication with the reception difficult, and I needed to sign or use visual aids. The... More

As other reviewers have pointed out this hotel is well located to get to the airport and to the metro as it is within a 100 metres or so of the main line into the town centre. This hotel is not dissimilar to the likes of Holiday Inns. Great for business users. However for my wife and I it was... More

My family just stayed at the Silken Puerta Castilla last week. The hotel was clean and modern and the rooms were nice. We were pleased on arrival and the price was good. However, on our first morning, there was no hot water to shower, wash hands or anything. We made several calls and we were told that they were fixing... More

The standard rooms are not very big, so try to get the bigger ones. I got in compensation, after two tries in rooms that that were not done in spite the system showed that they were ready, a top floor room on one of the corners. That was a very nice and big room with a very good king bed,... More

A really nice hotel for a visit to Madrid. Either leisure or business it suits both. The hotel is very close to a big metrostation that brings you real quick to the city center. The rooms are big and comfy, beds are clean and the large pillows guarantees a good night sleep. Breakfast is good and buffet style, but is... More

The hotel is just 20 seconds to the metro! Direct line to the city centre, very convenient. The room was spacious and comfortable. I got a super hot rate on booking.com during their flash sale, it was non-refundable, but almost 70 percent cheaper than usual. The hotel is modern and well-equipped. But be sure to remember which metro exit it... More
