The hotel is located right next to the Torres KIO (the Gate of Europe) and not far from the Cuatro Torres, which was perfect for us as we were visiting the British Embassy in the Torre Espacio. It is also right next to the metro station of Plaza Castilla, making it easy to travel to other parts of the city.... More

The hotel is clean and in a great location to flag down a taxi. Staff are helpful and the breakfast is good. The rooms are spacious if a little basic, but overall a comfortable stay. The only downside is the quality of food from room service which isn't great. However there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance next to... More

Beautiful hotel and an extremely convenient location! Not forgetting the Mcdonalds which is 10 seconds away. The hotel room was spacious and very clean. (Thank you for the complimentary chocolates!). The staff are not very warm towards you. A staff member called Emma (I think) barely smiled when we checked in and was not very helpful when I asked her... More

I been in Madrid for 2 night and i booked in Puerta Castilla, i think is good for Corporate events and meeting but not great for tourist. Very close to the tube station but not too close to the city centre. No facilities in the hotel as bar or restaurant, i asked for an open bottle and they didn't find... More

Hotel and Booking.com very obliging after a much up in our booking so scored good points. Shower good and room was well sized and clean. price was good. Great tapas bars nearby. This location is a bit out of town, but that worked for us as we only had 2 nights and it is in a great location for Chamartin... More

The hotel may look hard to find at first but it's very well located. Rooms are not very spacious but are ok. And breakfast is very good. Just one note, since I was invited, I cannot judge price/quality ratio.

This hotel is hard to find! If you take the subway from the airport, you will alight at Plaza Castilla station. When you emerge from the underground, you can do what I did - walk around in circles with luggage in tow, dodging traffic for half an hour (I even tried to check into another hotel with no name, only... This hotel is in a good position, close to the metro and trains, and not so far from the airport. Apart this, it is not at all a four stars, maybe a two! The entrance look old and not well maintained, the elevators are small and not so well working, the rooms look old as well. The people working there... More

This is the second time I have visited this Hotel as it is closest to where I need to be. The first review I believe was OK apart from the lack of Air conditioning. Good news This time room had Air con that worked and the room temperature was spot on. Bad news No kettle in the room and €5... More

The location, rooms and service are what you would expect from a hotel like this - and met my expectations. The breakfast is also good value - reasonably priced and a nice selection of breakfast food. The restaurant and bar within the hotel closed in July of this year - so if you are looking for a quick dinner /... More
