I booked this hotel for a two days business trip as it was the recommended hotel from the organizers. The location is very easy to find (it is just next to the metro station and on the big Castellana avenue. A ride to the center by metro takes 20 to 30 minutes. The neighborhood of course is not very interesting.... More

The Hotel it is not in a prime location, maybe in the future with the enlargement of Paseo de la Castellana will, but not now. The Hotel entrance and very specially if you arrive at night, its kind of scary, from the road till the entrance of the hotel is a dark zone, with people seated in the floor and... More

Many Camino walkers begin their trip with a railway journey from Madrid to Sarria. Trains depart from Chamartin station which is NOT Madrid's main railway hub. If you're looking for a hotel close to Chamartin, Hotel Exe Puerta Castilla is highly recommended. It's about 3 blocks from the station, modern, bright, clean, good amenities, good breakfast. For us, it was... More

This hotel is very clean, quiet, and has a great location! It is away from old town but right along the Metro line. You can take #1 to Prodo or #10 to old town for 1.5 Euro. You can not find this quality hotel in the crowded downtown.

Me and my wife chose Puerta Castilla hotel very quickly while planning our blitz visit to meet our family members staying in a Tetuan hotel. After all, we found we made the right choice: the price was moderate, the location optimal and the service good. One of Plaza de Castilla metro entrances is situated some 20 meters from the hotel... This is my third time in Madrid and I can surely have an objective opinion about a lodging in this most beautiful city in Spain. This hotel is in the perfect location, just next to the Plaza de Castilla station which can take you straigh to the city center (Sol, Gran Via...line 1) but also you can easily reach hotel... More

Arrived early evening just enough light to view the two leaning towers and, impressive monument outside the hotel. The reception staff were friendly and, helpful I got room 1002- 10th floor sadly the view from my room was not as inspiring as it was to the rear of the hotel and just looked at another wing of the building. No... More

My husband had already been in Madrid for two days and I flew out to spend the weekend with him at this hotel. This was the first time I had stayed here. The hotel is conveniently situated next to the metro and very near a main bus station making it an ideal base for exploring Madrid with their ticket prices... More

I have been to Madrid for a 2 days Business trip on Jan 18th and 19th.After much search I have zeroed down this hotel based on the Trip Advisor reviews and the ambience. Rooms are pretty spacious, and all together ambience seems to be appropriate for a modern business class hotel. They don't have a running restaurant beyond 10 Pm... More
