Spent three nights at this Hotel in late Jan '05. The Suecia is in a good location with a fairly good restaurant.. Our room on the 9th floor although , of good size, & clean was badly in need of a refurbishing. Suecia hotel is very centrally located. Only minutes away from the museums, Gran Via. Plaza Major & Puerta del Sol are only about a 15 minute walk. Staff here was friendly; hotel was above average. Its claim to fame is that Hemingway stayed here.

Good central location for walking almost anywhere to see sites. The room was adequate and clean. We didn't spend much time in our room, so it was fine.

Hotel Suecia had a very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clearn; however, not the best room view. The location was excellent, quite surroundings, yet convenient to various tourist sites. Overall, for the price it was okay.
