This hotel is just south of the city centre it is on a busy road but the noise can not be heard once inside. There is a parking arangement with a secure carpark a couple of streets away for 12 euros a day. The staff were all polite and helpfull the room i had was well equiped and very modern... more
We stayed for 4 nights in early May 07 and were impressed with the Carlton. While the hotel is generally a little dated in appearance, our room was large, quiet and very comfortable. Stayed here on a three day business trip. Convenient location for Atocha station - this is why I chose it. Fair price of 75euro per night, breakfast at 11,50 euro - very competitive in Madrid.
