Great modern hotel, the location is good. Very clean. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Gym/fitness suite a little bit of a let down. The bed room was a pleasant surprise, pretty large and well equipped. The same applies for the bathroom. Would stay here again!

I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights for a business trip. The hotel is a bit old and cramped, but has one of the better locations of the major hotel chains I frequent (SPG/Marriott) and a pretty low rate (<100 euro/night). The service isn't great or bad, but simply "OK." The breakfast is pretty standard for hotels in Spain... More

This AC Carlton is exactly what you would expect from a business hotel -- clean, comfortable and very well located. It is right by Atocha train station, Retiro Park and to the main museums in Madrid. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel as it seemed over priced, but there are plenty of places nearby, where you can get a... More

Myself and my partner stayed at this hotel in October. The hotel was kind enough to upgrade us to a junior suite - which was very pleasant. However, there we had two issues with the condition of the hotel which completely marred our stay. Firstly, the fixed shower is only 6 foot high, making it impossible for anyone taller than... More

Dear guest, First of all I would like to apologize again for the inconveniences caused during your stay. As I already told you, I am really sorry for the problem with the shower, it is the first time that we have this problem with one of our guests, if you would have told us this problem during your stay we... Stayed for 4 nights in November with spouse. High Floor room (7th). It looks like these rooms have been remodeled recently and although small for US standards, it accommodated everything, even a working area. The best: The Shower. A fully enclosed Rain-style shower. Finally, someone in Europe "got it" and understood that those partial doors on the side of a... More

This is four-, not five-star hotel; it's not luxurious or surrounded by scenic beauty, like the Ritz. The neighborhood is decidedly urban and busy, with lots of people, traffic and commotion, but for our needs it was the perfect choice and we would definitely stay here again. This hotel has a convenient location about two blocks from the Reina Sofia... More

Stayed here in late October, from check-in staff to room maids and barman - the service was superb. Hotel is well located for Atocha train station and about 15-25 min walk from the area where there are lots of bars and tapas restaurants. Rooms are large, well equipped and beds comfortable. Windows keep the noise out well. In line with... More

The hotel is located very near to Madrid Sants or Train station that connected to other city from Madrid. If you only bring one small luggage, you can walk to this hotel, I would say around 500m, since inside the station you will need to find way out from the building to the taxi area, just walk up and cross... Close to the main train station, so useful for a quick stop over. I would not stay if wanting to use this hotel as a base for more than a couple of days. There are better hotels in Madrid. The rooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast at 18 euros per person is somewhat overboard. Save your money and go... More

Lets started by saying, this is not a 4 stars hotel as declared. Nevertheless had a wonderful stay here, Location wise, near Atocha Renfe and Atocha Metro station (they are 2 different station) Also near Atocha Train station which connects Madrid to other parts of Spain. Staff, EXCEPT the bartender (notice 3 different person, all same attitude), all the staff... More
