For the money I paid, I'd rather stay in a 2-star closer to Gran Via or Sol. This hotel is behind the Atocha train station and is still quite a walk from the train station especially if you have lots of luggage. Breakfast was good - scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and cold cuts and cereals. Room was good size for... More

Due to an emergency my family arrived a few hours before me as I was still en route. The lady at reception was very rude and unhelpful to them. I had to make a call to verify certain details. The room I booked was not what we got and I was charged extra for the privilege! The food was undercooked... More

I am currently checked in at this hotel. The room is great. It has cozy beds and pillows, which I find important in a hotel, not so big but complete with toilet and bath amenities, a long desk, and all the basic necessities that a traveler would need. The rooms are really clean and spacious compared to other hotels here... More

We spent 3 nights there this month--1 before and 2 after our scheduled tour. The hotel was definitely close (10 min level walk) to the train station which made it easy to catch our departing train out of Madrid. We walked twice to the city center, but it is a good 30 min walk so you may want to consider... More
