Hotel location is very convenient for touring madrid. Close to Placio Real. Metro station across the street. Room has no minibar. It was impossible to adjust the airconditioner temperature. The use of the safe will cost additional 2 euro/day. Internet use is 7 euro/hr. Breakfast is very poor. The coffee is tasteless, the "orange juice" is a strange yellow drink.... more

This hotel was one of the worst hotels i have ever stayd at. Our negative experiences started immediatly at the check in. The people from check in where very rude, they did not make us feel welcome, they did not speak any english en finally i was asked to sign something, i usually dont sign anything before i know WHAT... more

Excuse the title but this hotel was so dated it was like a 70s Columbo film, you expected Peter Falk to walk around the corner at any moment! 70s decor needs badly updating, horrible green colour all round the hotel, the sofas, carpet floor tiles & everything. The room wasn't much better, definitely not 4 star although the breakfast was... more

Even though it is 4 star as it claims, this is a very low end hotel, the room looks more humble than the Motels that we stayed before. We first got a room that is so smelly with huge mosquito, we had to change the room once. Even worse is all their service guys do not smile at all. They... more

I found this hotel to be nothing special. It was clean and met our needs but there was no charm or character or anything to make it interesting. Our first night was too hot since we couldn't get the air conditioner to work and when we moved it was to an updated room. They are in the beginning process of... more

My travel agent came up with this one. The location was great. A bit of a long haul up the hill ( on a hot day ) and then we were in the middle of things. The hotel is across the street from a train, metro, bus station that is surprisingly orderly and easy to understand - even though I... more

Read the reviews AFTER booking this hotel so was pleasantly surprised.Location was fantastic as used Metro and buses at door.Staff friendly. Room spacious and bathroom spotless. Breakfast had a good variety but fresh fruit and yoghurt would have been nice. Only gripe was the orange juice which came out of a machine and tasted ghastly! On the whole a very good... more

This hotel is in an excellent location for the Metro connections to the city center and has excellent views of the palace from the bedroom window. The staff where friendly and helpfull. The rooms where very clean, but I am not to sure the hotel is worth the 163 euro charge stated in the hotel brochure, but having only paid... more

12 of us went to this Hotel for a weekend break. Great location for shopping, and transport (Metro) system. The rooms are big but the walls are paper thin. Could hear conversations, and other less pleasant noises, from the room next door! Breakfast was included - not really worth much Grunted at by the concierge. Bacon was not bad, sausages... more
