The bedroom was dark due to the high rise building opposite. Walls extremely thin, could hear everything.Room was very clean but mini bar fir water very expensive. No view. Staff not that brilliant, poor English spoken for an international city and a reluctance to offer help or a solution. Breakfast was very good in the restaurant but the food in... More

Would have give the hotel a score of Average and maybe Good if not for the poor wifi reception. To me compliemntary wifi is very essential in this time and age of traveling. There is no reason for hotel not to have dependable wifi connection. The connection is so bad in the room that we have to station ourself in... More

Very satisfied with this hotel. The location is very convenient--just a short walk to Atocha train and Metro stations and to many of Madrid's main attractions, such as the Prado. At the same time, it's located on a quiet street so you can get some sleep at night. There is a minibar in the room and a supermarket nearby, which... More

Very good location, close to Atocha station. You can walk to Reina Sofia and Prado museums, both 15 minutes away. Retiro park is right behind the hotel. Excellent breakfast. Something that can be considered good and bad at the same time, is the big number of "senior" trips with big groups often arriving/departing. Staff very professional but they should smile... More

Came with a 3 day tour and found that the hotel is old and the rooms are small and along with thier bathrooms are showing thier age. If I were returning again I would chose another more uptodate place to stay. Room seemed to be clean, but glass drinking glasses were not cleaned - it looked like the cleaning staff... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as part of a package holiday. The hotel is well placed being only 10 minutes walk from the main rail station and the metro. It could be an excellent hotel but suffers from not having to make an effort to attract guests. Only a little extra effort from a complacent management could... More

Hello, in April 2014 my cousin and me headed for a five-day tourist stay in Spain´s beautiful capital Madrid. As we looked for something not too expensive and centrally located, we decided to stay at *Agumar Hotel* which is a 10-minute-walk away from the Atocha Main Station. From Atocha you can reach every important tourist spot and sight within 10-15... More

Comfortable, spacious rooms. Very clean. Great large breakfast selection including both hot and cold options. Front desk was efficient and accommodating (packed us a "picnic" in lieu of breakfast as we left at 5:30 on day of check out :)). Good reliable wifi. Close to atocha renfe metro station (7 min walk) which connects to the main atocha station underground.... More

I was in this hotel for 3 nights. It is very closed to the main train and metro station, Atocha. The hotel is very clean, the staff was ok, the breakfast good. I recomand this hotel for staying in Madrid.
