The hotel is located on Gran via by Plaza de Espana metro station on line 10 which is handy if travelling from the airport as you only have to change once at Nuevos Ministerios. Had a three night stay in the Tryp Washington in Madrid. The hotel is on the very busy Gran Via, surrounded by hotels, restaurants, shops and theatres. Fifty yards from 'Plaza de España' underground, good breakfast, excellent situation. If you want quiet at night ask for an interior room . .no view, but quiet. Welcoming service upon arrival. Were given non smoking room at rear of property (room 805) although it had a view over the roofs of neighbouring rooftoops we had asked for a room for smokers.
