The property made our stay in Madrid just perfect. The staff were so welcoming and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Our room was clean, large enough and the hotel lounge was a perfect place to wait for our flight in comfort. I look forward to the opportunity of re visiting Hotel Atlantico. Positioned centrally with great breakfast facilities... More

Good location & we had lovely refurbished rooms that were a great size. Disappointed that the roof terrace wasn't accessible, but the staff were all so charming that we had to score a 5 even without a roof terrace. We would definitely use this hotel again.

Very nice hotel on one of main streets in Madrid. Easy walking distance from many amenities, bars and eateries. Our rooms were very quiet despite the location. Amazing bathroom and very comfortably room. I did wish the room had had coffee/tea making facilities. Very good welcome and customer service. Stayed 4 days. Complimentary pick up from the airport, which we... More

Stayed for 4 nights in a twin room. The room was a good size, exceptionally clean and well equipped. There was also a very spacious and tranquil lounge and bar area upstairs. It was in an excellent location in central Madrid on Gran Via yet very quiet once you entered the hotel lobby and no street noise was heard from... More

The hotel is in a great location , but not 4 star as advertised. It has only 1 very small elevator . We were almost forced into using the 'bellboy ' which we didn't need . He waited to get tipped and when we said we didn't have any change as we had just arrived ,he volunteered to 'give change... More

We stayed in this hotel 3 night and enjoyed a lot.the hotel is very centrally located which make it perfect for walking in the city center. you don't have to use the subway. If you are visiting Madrid, this hotel is an ideal base to explore all the main sights on foot. There is a metro station directly outside the hotel if you want to travel out of town. The hotel is spotlessly clean, staff friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast at €10.00 per person is excellent value for money. Good choice and... More

the hotel is not in a 4 stars level as they claim. the location is great but the rooms are not big enough, the toilette is not ventilated, you can hear noises from other rooms and even from closing the doors. and some of the stuff are not very polite and nice.

Nice, clean and very conveniently located. I stayed there only for one night on my way back home from Valencia, but thanks to the location was able to walk around and get a feel of Madrid. Unfortunately there was a garbage collectors strike and the trash was just everywhere, otherwise very nice city.

Nice hotel in the city with historic charm. Rooms are elegant with woodwork. Clean. Nice staff. Balcony and terrace overlooking the city, great to bring your own drinks up and sit outside. Would recommend.

Staying in Malasana

Neighborhood Profile
Malasana
Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighborhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
