This hostel is in a great location for exploring the city and is super close to "Sol" Metro stop (1 hour from airport, costing 4.50€ to take the Metro-take line 8 to 10 to 1 and exit at "Sol"), and close to bars, restaurants, and shopping. Be aware that many close mid-afternoon for siesta! The staff was helpful and speaks... More

We decided to visit Madrid with a school group and what a bad choice to stay there. On the website, it should say that you should NEVER take a group of young children there. We did NOT sleep for 4 nights. The children were EXTREMELY tired. I will never go back to this hostel. If you have a room on... More

Excellent location, decent breakfeast options available. Also wi-fi in the common area downstairs. Stayed in Equity Point Centric Barcelona, found it slightly cleaner and better kept than this one in Madrid. Staff were helpful. Overall good stay!

This hostel is the worst I have ever stayed in.The location is good but thats where the compliments end.The staff are not the nicest people you would ever meet but they were not the worst I have ever met.I shared a room with 2 others in our group who both agreed it was the worst they had ever stayed in... Location is great and it is in the middle of the night life so if you want to sleep ask for a room at the end of the hall not near the street and you will slumber easily. the building is in ancient Madrid and so are the pipes so some unusual middle of the night noises are expected. There... More

The hostel has a good location, good price and the staff is very helpful but there was a lot of noise from the street and at 4 in the morning there was a awful noise in the toilet (probably problems with the pipes) and it was impossible to sleep anymore. When we complained the guy didn't look very worried so... More

Stayed in a dorm room in this hostel on 13-15 August. Very basic facilities but given the price paid and the central location I think this hostel represents good value for money. Simple breakfast of juice, cereal, wrapped pastries was a welcome inclusion in the price. The hostel is located less than five minutes walk from Sol and the immediate... More

I paid 48 euros for one night this atrocious hostel. I walked in and the building smelled like open raw sewage. The smell was in the lobby and even in my room. It was almost unbearable. There were anywhere from thirty to fifty holes in my curtain and a few dozen holes in my bedspread. The room, the bed, the... More

Rooms are noisy and no air circulation. One window opens to noisy areas, in our case this was a light shaft that carried the sound of everything from loudmouths to vomiting young men to 0430am home commers. No fan or aircon, tiled surfaces. Possibly the worst place we have stayed in. We had 2 separate rooms (2 couples) and both... More
