Nice welcome lovely room with gorgeous city view on the terrasse !!!!
The hotel was centrally located, just a few minutes walk from the Antoin Martin metro and Santa Ana plaza where we enjoyed several lovely beverages in the afternoons. The hotel is also about a ten minute walk to the restaurants in La Latina and close to Plaza Mayor.
The room was clean, the bathroom was modern and had good hot...

The Hotel is next to Plaza St. Ana, a nice square with a lot of bars and restaurants. It is only 2 stations from the main train station. You can even walk. We arrived late and had dinner at "La Lateral" on Plaza Ana and were quite happy. All other sight seeing spots are near the Hotel, like Plaza Mayor,...

Lots of little things added up to a great stay in this hotel in the center of Madrid. The rooms were recently furnished and are clean. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom nice (with a great rain shower). I noticed an ash tray in our room, but didn’t smell any smoke. Perhaps good to ask for a non-smoking room...

The location is perfect - able to walk to just about everywhere. Room was great, bathroom very spacious. Best breakfast deal is the bakery across the street - a good tip I read on previous reviews.
We travelling with our son 5 years and was so special. The hotel is very clean, the bathroom is big and the rooms have a great and confort beds.. its a nice place to stay with family. The only negative point is the price of breakfast but you can take it in front.. In a small baquery. Enjoy o una...

Location is perfect for getting out and about to museums and places of interest. Also very near Puerto del Sol for a great choice of restaurants. We were able to walk everywhere - more interesting than going on the metro.
On arrival we asked for a room in a quiet location and were given one on the 3rd floor overlooking...

I stayed there with my wife 5 nights. I asked for a rear room in a high floor in order to have a quiet room without hearing the street noise. I received such room in the 6th floor, but no one told me that this room has only a small window near the ceiling and in order to open it...

Hotel Catalonia is a chain of Spanish hotels (probably Catalonian owned right?), which seems to be buying up older hotels and refurbishing them, like others in the US and Europe. The Plaza Mayor was the first HC hotel I stayed at, but if this is what they are all like I'll stay at more of them. There are 6 in...

Stayed there for three nights. The location couldn't be better! The room is not very big, but decorated nicely. The price for the breakfast is 19€ online, but when I checked in they offered it to me for 12. That's a good deal - it's a really nice breakfast.
