Spent almost a week at this hotel and have very positive things to say about it. Location was very good, with a short walk to many of the attractions that tourists would want to go visit. I chose this hotel because it had the best price I could find with the flexibility to cancel. The location is perfect, just opposite a metro station and a few minutes away from most major attractions. Excellently located, the staff are very helpful and speak fluent English. Breakfast was fresh and abundant. The only drawback is the poor soundproofing. Avoid rooms on the first floor and facing the street. Ask for rooms on the top floor and away from the street. more

I guess its just Madrid and people love to party but man did it get noisy outside my hotel's window that overlooked the Santo Domingo Metro stop. Had a few sleepless nights. But that aside...a nice and clean hotel room. Street down from Gran Via and with easy access to the Metro. I would stay at a Best Western again... more

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The noise coming from the street in front was extremely loud from 9:30am to 18:00pm!! The receptionist should have warned us about the construction workers in front and we would have chosen a different hotel.At one point, it was so loud we couldn't even talk to each other in the room. Hotel is right across the street from a Metro stop and near a nice area within Madrid for walking around and seeing the sites. My room was very small as are many in Europe. Breakfast was ok. TV channel selection is good, with several English-speaking options. more

I have to say the rooms are about as big as you can get from a 3* hotel anywhere in downtown Madrid. Hotel is very well located close to just about a block from Gran Via and close to Plaza Mayor and Sol. The streets nearby are filled with people and tourists always. Hotel offers free wifi and comfortable beds.... more

First I'd like to say, that there is only shuttle service from the hotel to the airport when you leave. Second...upon arrival I was told that Wifi in room isnt free as I was told when I booked with my AAA card...they did the right thing, and without fuss, gave me a password for the time we stayed there. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The check in and check out were easy. The hotel is nicely decorated and the rooms were of a good size.
