+ rooms are nice, modern and well equiped + breakfast is good + service ok + price ok + outdoor pool available - location is not central (although it says "city centre" on the novotel website), 7-10 min. by foot to next metro station, 30-40 min. total travelling time into the center (you have to change trains once or twice)... more

I have just returned from Madrid following a three night city break that I booked myself. I never book a hotel without first looking on Tripadvisor and to be honest I was unsure but hopeful after reading many of the reviews previously posted. Well, I did not have to worry whatsoever, the hotel is the typical 4 Star business/leisure that... more

Novotel Puente de la Paz was a very nice, convenient hotel for my leisure trip to Madrid. It can be reached by subway (it´s not that close to it...it´ll demand a 15 minute walking). There´s a bus stop just accross the hotel where you can get a bus to downtown, which takes up to 15 minutes. The hotel is a... more

Stayed here on business for four nights in May whilst working in the nearby Calle Josef Valcarcel / A2 area where lots of big international businesses have theire Madrid offices. The hotel is only about 10 minutes from Barajas airport by car and is right by the side of the M30 ring road / close to the A2 junction. That... more

We were part of a Trafalgar European tour group (cost-saver). We stayed at this hotel 2 nights and really spent minimal time in the room/hotel – after all we were in Europe to sightsee! Hotel’s positives - large room - comfortable beds - plasma television, but no English television channels - relatively large bathroom - very clean - modern hotel... more

I arrived in Novotel at 2 pm after a long 11 hours trip and the girl from reception told us there was no room avaiable an that we should have to wait about 1 hour. we tried to argue, we were tired and the two children even more but she said again that there was no room avaiable. My husband... more

We were a family of 2 adults and an 8 year old who spent 4 nights here. September is high season in Madrid and it proved impossible to find a hotel that slept 3, included breakfast, and was around 100 Euros a night. By moving just outside of the center of town we achieved our goals with this Novotel. Overall... more

Over the years, I went to Madrid several times, being the last in April of 2007, where I stayed at Novotel Madrid Puente de la Paz. I went to this hotel because I found a nice rate online (I don't remember the exact value but it was something like €60 per night for a double room). When I arrived I... more

I spent two nights here on my way elsewhere in Spain. If you're someone who doesn't speak good Spanish, you'll always appreciate finding a hotel receptionist who speaks good English. After 15 hours travelling, it was a nice welcome. My room on the 1st floor was quite modern with a good desk/work area, fast internet connection (26 euro per 24... more
