The hotel was in a great location for my business and had excellent, comfortable rooms. The food was very good but sparse. The cost was good for a business trip. Would recommend more for business than leisure.

We spent 5 nights in this hotel and we are pleased with this our stay. The hotel is well located close to a subway station and in the heart of Madrid. Very practical. The staff welcomed us with kindness, was smily and was full of courtesy. Very nice and helpful staff for the breakfast. The breakfast itself was excellent with... More

Just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel, which is situated down a quiet side street, but perfectly placed for visiting the City. I stayed in a single room which was not as small as I had thought. (I have stayed in places this would have been considered a double. ! ) Quite an odd setup as my... More

This is my second stay at this centrally located Hotel just off the Paseo Castellana at Gregorio Maranon. It is perfectly located for the metro (less than 100 yards) with many buses to the museums and shopping centers. It is short walk to the biggest El Corte ingles the best luxury chain store in Madrid. The hotel is 'no frills'... More

I choose this hotel because it was in the vicinity of the conference I attended. The hotel staff is very friendly. Breakfast is great, you can choose the sweet Spanish breakfast but they also serve lots of different fresh fruit, bread and eggs. The free wifi works fine and the rooms are big enough for the purpose. Bus stop is... More

Stayed here for 6 nights May 2014. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very good for the price (I paid approx. $60/night through Expedia, no breakfast, double room). Room was quite nice with a small balcony, minibar, flat screen TV, impeccably clean. I was on the sixth floor and I would recommend a room on at least the... More

Room was a bit small & a bit dated but was clean & had a good balcony. Bed was very comfortable. Staff very pleasant & helpful. Breakfast was amazing - the best selection of any hotel I have ever seen. Hotel is walkable from Central Madrid - just. But the brilliant Madrid metro is metres away. Also there are plenty... More

Rooms and hotel in general is clearly of an older date and the rooms are showing clear signs of it. Staff, service and cleaness is fine and breakfast buffet up to standard. As stated, hotel is dated but I guess price well matches the quality level.

Big plus of this hotel is the excellent breakfast, but a minus is that it is not served until 7:30 which makes it difficult if you have an early start. The rooms are adequate and clean. A little noisy on the street side with people partying in the street to all hours so it would be better to have the... More

This hotel is in the financial area of Madrid but is also very near the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium (Real Madrid FC). We booked as we were attending El Classico in March 2014 and were keen to stay somewhere within walking distance of the stadium. The rooms were variable - we had booked 2 rooms - one for myself and my... More
