This is an expensive, high quality hotel. Parking is 26 euro extra, breakfast, 20 each. So when we found long hairs and a previous booking receipt in one of the beds we were very surprised. the bedding had not been changed. The staff were very apologetic, but that really didn't make up for my son having to sleep on the... More

I liked this hotel very much. I stayed there for football and it was really close to the stadium, great staff who helped a lot. Good wifi which is important to me. The only thing that I was disappointed at was the shower. I will book this hotel again!

Myself and four colleagues checked in to this hotel, all booking the same corporate room rate and yet we had different types of rooms on different floors. Some with balconies, some with coffee machines, some with one single bed, some with two and others with a double bed. I am a little confused as to what is The Standard. There... More

Excellent location in a quiet area but close to business hub in Madrid and Madrid's historic district. Friendly and attentive Hotel staff. Room was a bit small as well as bed (Single room reservation) but good sleep. Room décor and utilities (TV) a bit dated, but overall stay was very good.

Stayed two nights on business. Evening receptionist extremely rude, very unwilling to assist and dare I say just plain lazy. Will not be staying here again due to this. Rooms were clean and adequate. Food was edible, we had to eat there as we had no time to dine out due to work, for the price it is borderline to... More

I stayed for the evening, and it lived up to NH standards. Getting here from the airport is easy, from T1/2/3, it's 4 stops on the 8 metro to Columbia, and a 6 minute walk from there. The Columbia area has a bunch of commerce and restaurants as well. They recognized my NH Rewards status and gave me a nice... More

If I need to go down to reception to get any wireless connection, then I am not convinced the hotel has a clue about customer needs. Seeing people turned away from the bar and watching a guest complain about an hours wait for an hour only reinforces that. Shabby shower, unreliable hot water, creaky bed springs........avoid

I spent 3 nights here with friends and had an excellent stay. The staff spoke good english and was very helpful, the breakfast buffet was awesomely presented, varied and plentyfull. The rooms were clean and I got a big room with a good sized TV, wardrobe and bathroom. The hotel is situated close to the stadium Santiago Bernabeu and 15... More

Spent three days at ths hotel in 3- 6 September 2015. All the staff- reception, catering and domestic were, without exeception, extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and the consumables in the bathroom were well replenished. My wife says that she has never used such a good hotel hairdryer! The... More

Stayed for business. Excellent bed and georgeous breakfast. Staff very helpful. I recommend it. Close to the Real Madrid stadium and close to a shopping area. Bus station in front of the hotel and also taxi stop in the main entrance. 15 minutes by taxi from the airport.
