My stay in the hotel was excellent. No complains what so ever. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and courteous and the food was excellent. The only complain I have is the gym was too small.

I spent 4 nights in NH Sanvy on a business trip. Entrance is not on Calle de Goya, but around the corner, so this could be a little confusing. As I had checked upfront, this was not a problem. Location is fine, next to Calle de Goya and Calle Serrano, close to Madrid CBD. Walking distance to the city center... More

The location in central Madrid couldn't have been much better. The Metro stop to get anywhere you wanted to do was also very close. The room had one of the biggest bathrooms I've seen in Europe. Refurbishing of upper rooms was underway, which put us only 2 floors above street. Unfortunately, the pulley system to the upper floors was set... More

Rooms are basic but OK: a bit of wear and tear but the hotel is being refurbished so that may soon change. Location is excellent: small side street of all the big ones. Breakfast was very extensive, good and fresh.

Don't know wether it was an expectation thing, i'd spent the last 3 nights in a tidy but ultimately uncomfortable place in London, and my colleagues had just checked into the 500 euro a night Westin across town. Turning up to find the NH undergoing renovations, I resigned myself to a bad night. How wrong could I be. The room... More

Location is great for families and business travelers. It is located next to a small mall with nice eateries and fruit shop for your quick fix. Walk round the corner and you will be greeted by Ferragamo, Prada, Loewe..just name it. The hotel is located on a shopping street filled with all the premium fashion labels. Food is easily accessible... More

This is a small hotel, located near Plaza de Colon. Near public transport and it is about 30 minutes walk to Plaza de Major. Depending on what you want to do and how to do it, this may or may not be for you. The hotel is a little out dated. Immediate area has some attractions and nice restaurants and... More

Stayed in Madrid for just a few days and looked for a good location with a pool. This is just the place to go. Great location and a nice little pool. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and the staff are extremely friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel especially for it's reasonable price. Very close to the colon metro

Stayed here for a few days last week. The hotel's very comfortable in an excellent location. There's a Metro stop near the hotel & you can also walk in 15-20 mins to sights such as the Prado Museum & Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. The room was very clean & comfortable. The small rooftop pool & sun terrace are also nice to relax... More

Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighborhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
