The hotel is near a metro stop so you can get the metro from the airport, but you do have to change trains once. It's not too far by taxi (about 30 mins drive in traffic) so it's easier to get a taxi if you have luggage. The hotel is situated about 30 mins walk from the main sights in... More

This could easily be a much better hotel with the addition of a kettle in the room, and a better internet system. Everything else was very good. The 30 minute free internet could only be used in the lobby. This meant that the lobby was often very crowded. It worked very erratically, causing guests to overwhelm the desk staff. They... More

Stayed on 3 night break. Excellent location near Madrid's superb metro and short walk to the palace and cathedral end of town. Room spacious, comfortable and clean with towels changed every day even if we didn't request it. Several reviewers had mentioned the rudeness of the reception staff.. not a bit of it: everyone was extremely polite and helpful. Good... More

Stayed here as a group of 5 ladies for a long weekend and found this hotel to be in a fantastic position and great value for money. Rooms were large and very clean. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and the breakfasts were excellent. Situated right by the metro or within walking distance of the city centre. All in all... More

Spent three nights here at beginning of October, excellent for the metro, just 50 yards away and best metro ever been on, very easy to get around all the main attractions. The hotel is very pleasant but quite large so reception can be busy but we were lucky, arrived just before two coaches did! Bedroom was very spacious with a safe, mini bar... More

First day of our trip to spain. Long journey from India New Delhi. You reach hotel and was told that the room is not ready and you need to wait for one hour in lobby. The hotel is nicely located near to all the famous tourist points. The staff at the reception is a little less courteous as they feel... More

We stayed for 4 nights in September and enjoyed the hotel, although there were some limitations that held my overall score down. The hotel is well placed, 5 minutes from the excellent Madrid Metro and about 15 - 20 minutes walk to the lively city areas and attractions. As we arrived at the hotel there was considerable refurbishment going on... More

The hotel is about 10 mins walk or short metro ride from the main city attractions so a reasonable location but not part of the lively evening eating and promenading scene. Bedroom was spacious but I missed 'real' toiletries as the 'Lux' push style was in place. No kettle for tea!! No bottle of water. Breakfast is good and plentiful... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel as part of a wedding group. 10 of us arrived together and check in went fairly easily but 2 people in our party had overstated invoices for their rooms. This was sorted out and new invoices printed. Fortunately the wifi policy has changed and we were given a login that was valid... More

I have been staying in hotel 6 days. Room was quite worn out, to the street side, so I could hear party people up to very morning. Carpet was dirty, no bath toiletries, towels worn out and were not changed even once. Staff in reception was very helpful, loaded my phone, because my luggage bag was lost for several days.
