The good: Location can't be beat. Old characterful building, nicely decorated, modern, colorful and clean rooms. Friendly front desk employees. We had no problem checking into our room before 2pm (it was ready when we arrived around 11am). Free soft drinks and water; free daily walking tour of the city (moderately engaging and somewhat slow because one guide served both... More

Arrived with my 10 year old daughter at this hotel, only to be told by the front desk that my reservation (made months before, and re-confirmed only three weeks earlier) had been cancelled. No explanation given, in Spanish or English. Seems they were overbooked but that is a guess; maybe our rate was cheaper than they thought they could fetch.... More

Let's face it: the room and the bathroom are small and I'm a big guy (1,80m e 140 Kg - 5'9 and 310 lbs). But the utilization of the free space was optimized: the closet was imbued in the wall, there's a desktop PC if you don't bring you PC / Tablet / whatever in a tiny table and you... More

Stayed in January and was fantastic. Emailed and requested the same room for this stay, however it was not ready so I took any room. Room was on the ground floor with 3 single beds and a tiny bathroom. Not big enough for 3 people but fine for me as I was alone. The cleaners in the morning were very... More

Stayed here between 31st Jan - 3rd Feb in the room Andalucia. I arrived before the check in time of 2pm and had no problem in getting a room - room was large w/2 x single beds, a balcony, and shower room. Spotlessly clean and close to Sol. Will b bk.

The location is excellent. Decor amazing. Room size is fair. Bathroom size is small (but beautiful). Sitting area is next to nothing. Warnings- 1. No lifts (rooms are in 1st & 2nd floor). 2. Don't reach before 2pm because they STRICTLY stick to the policy. 3. Noisy neighbourhood & thin hotel walls. Advantage: 1. Good location. 2. Loads of eateries... More

Rooms are very clean and nice. Best thing is it is near by just center (0 km/Sol) and you can go any direction from here by walk or by metro. Wi-fi works great and there is a free minibar as well. Although a very tidy room , hard to keep the baggage in cupboard and open the door and go... More

My partner and I booked this hotel because it was in the center of Madrid, also it seemed it wasn't bad, for young people, good price, and had breakfast included as well. We are young (24 years) and students so we have the money right to travel near and not very much else. The thing is, what better than to... More

Stayed here for four nights recently. Friendly staff allowed us an early check-in which was appreciated. Rooms are themed on regions of Spain with bright, vibrant, funky décor not very large in size but didn't spend much time in it so was perfect. The modern rooms include a free minibar, a laptop with free Wi-Fi and a hydromassage shower. Breakfast... More
