On the plus side the hotels nice and clean rooms are a little small but the beds nice and big shower could be better and the aircon is temperamental to say the least It's a little dark inside the hotel but these wasn't a massive problem except the aircon not sure what it would be like in summer It's close... Have staid at this hotel several times in relationship too football events. Very nice and tidy hotel on 5 minute walking distance to Vicente Calderon football stadium (Atletico de Madrid home stadium) with nice surrounding incl. a river walk. The hotel restaurant offers good and not too pricy food as well. For city tourism I would perhaps chose a more... More

The hotel lives up to the NH standards, it's a bit out of the city center but the bus will take you to the center in 15 minutes, the hotel is clean and modern, rooms are big and comfy, well heated in winter. Wifi works well both in the room and in the common areas, the bathroom is great. I... More

Stayed here in November 2015. The rooms seemed fairly new and the hotel itself was in good shape. The room is typical European (meaning in the smaller side with two king beds pushed together) but is perfectly fine. The location though leaves something to be desired. It is a about at a 10 min can ride to the center of... More

This hotel was in great condition and the right price. We knew ahead of time that we would have to walk a bit to get to any of the touristy areas, but we didn't realize that the neighborhood itself would be so desolate. We always felt on alert when walking back to the hotel in the dark, although nothing dangerous... More

We stayed here a total of five nights here at NH Madrid Ribera del Manzanares. Three nights on our own and two, with our tour of Spain which started here. A handy location along the riverfront, with local shops and restaurants on both sides of the river. Right out the front is Bus 50 which takes you to the vibrant... More

A new hotel and quite modern in style an facilities. Only one restaurant with limited choices. Food is average, nothing great or lip-smacking. Breakfast is sumptuous with a vast array of dishes. However, the service struggles to cope with morning hour breakfast rush. Some dishes, like eggs, run out frequently and are not replenished fast enough. The room was quite... More

We stayed here for 2 nights from Oct27-29 at the end of our Trafalgar tour. This is a fairly modern hotel. Altho not in the city centre, it is located in a quiet pleasant area by the river Manzanares, affording a good jogging path up & down on both sides of the river. Room was clean, comfortable with nice amenities.... More

A new (around 2015) hotel, by the river, about 30 minutes' walk from Plaza Mayor. Not all taxi drivers know it. Being new, everything is crisp and clean. There's one eating place (cafe/restaurant/breakfast room) and it excels at breakfast - which is a joy. Staff are friendly/helpful but occasionally a shade ineffective: a taxi ordered at 5:40pm "in one hour,... More

We had a lovely modern room here, with a super bathroom. The air conditioning was not too effective however,so we needed to open the windows. The breakfast was excellent, I especially enjoyed the wide variety of loose leaf teas on offer. It is situated not too near the city centre, but there is a good bus route (no 50).
