Location is fantastic - 2/3 minute walk to the Goya metro station which is only 4 stops to the centre of Madrid. You can walk to Retiro Park (similar to Hyde Park) and there are lots of fab clothes shops on your door step. Hotel is clean, spacious and great chic decor. Amazing, in every sense of the word. We were very nervous about staying at this hotel because European hotels that have seemingly high stars on sites such as these generally have tiny rooms and nothing special to offer. Minimalist, modern, small hotel with decent rooms. The bed and duvet were very nice and comfortable for Europe. When we checked in, I found a hair still in the tub and wasn't impressed with the general cleanliness of the room. The restaurant was fine for a drink or a snack, but we didn't want to have a full meal there.... more

I endorse previous comments; it's a bit out of town but right on a direct metro (3/4 stops). However, we bothered by disco noise from the hotel basement, despite being on the 5th floor. more
