We arrived well before check-in time but that was no problem and we were even given an upgrade. An enormous, very comfortable bed and modern bathroom with powerful shower. Breakfast was included in the price and, if you wanted it, you could supplement the continental breakfast with a choice of hot dishes at no extra cost. The restaurant and bar... More

we stayed 4 nights and spent Christmas at this hotel. Thsi hotel has contemporary deisgn and stylish deco. location is the reason we choose this hotel as we liked the idea of havign a hotel lined up with small littles restaurants at the same street. Cava Baja no doubt offers the best small tapas bar in Madrid. wifi is also... More

Returning to one of our favorite hotel we were a little bit dissapointed because we found some lack of mantainace in our room. Among other things, bathroom mirror was broken and the trash can needs a repalcement because it was also broken. The staff as always excellent, specially Javier at the front desk who always is truly a plus to... More

One of the important reasons we chose this hotel is its proximity to tapas bars/restaurants. Whichever direction you go, there's a tapas bar nearby. Madrid is a lovely place. My friends and I visited Madrid last October 3; we took the fixed-rate taxi (30 Euros -- note: 6 luggages 3 passengers) to the hotel and the driver, though not english-speaking,... More

Stayed their for 3 nights over the weekend in September. Location is really good; right in the centre with many of the attractions within easy walking distance. It is on Cava Baja - one of the busiest tapas / bar streets - so expect lots of people around and the hotel bar / restaurant was always busy at night. It... More

I do not think I have given a 5 star rating until now! , This hotel for me was perfect! Centrally located and a stones throw away from Marcado de San Miguel ( also something not to miss!)Upon arrival we received a very warm friendly welcome along with a glass of Sangria! Lobby is beautifully decorated with old beams ,... More

As a couple, we stayed here for 2 nights in September and we really liked it a lot. The building is renovated beautifully at this very popular street filled with bars and restaurants in Madrid. The room was spacious, very well equipped and had a lot of features that made us think that somebody really put a lot of thought... More

Family vacation with 2 teenagers. Comfortable family room with queen bed and double bed. Great location on central Madrid street known for tapas restaurants and nightlife. Great breakfast with made to order eggs/bacon as well as full cold food spread. Lovely, helpful staff. Their tapas restaurant is packed every night!

This small hotel in the lively street of Cava Baja was a pleasant surprise. It was compact but the rooms are pretty adequate (the family size rooms are a good size). If you like a lot of space, get this room even if just for a couple as the extra bed is a murphy bed and is hidden in the... More

Great location in the renowned Calle Cava Baja. The hotel is very clean with modern facilities. The staff were extremely helpful, in particular given we don't speak Spanish. The restaurant is very good offering a range of choices including a sample of traditional dishes. The well appointed but small bar offers a welcome space to relax. The room was not... More
